The bat-girl cowered behind Inoue, almost shivering in fright from the loud men who came by. She looked too scared to do anything, much less respond to any of them if they addressed her. She simply ducked her head down behind Inoue, and hid.
It seemed like ages for her, before she realized they were gone. She glanced up just as Inoue uttered something, and over to Satoshi when he spoke the both of them. Then, her eyes darted over to Smithy as he raised his hand.
That was it, the last straw for Ryūza.
She'd been startled enough, and Smithy was just the one who pushed her over the edge. She scrambled to her feet the second he moved his arm, taking two hops back, before her wings opened and snapped downward, propelling her a few feet into the air. Two more beats of her powerful wings sent her past a building, and around a corner, where sight of her was lost.

"Hm? Oh, yeah. What side should I ta--" Smithy was interrupted as Ryūza leapt up to her feet, hopped backwards, and revealed the wings that he didn't even notice earlier. His expression was one of shock and curiosity. This wasn't the first time Smithy, or Satoshi, had seen wings like that. Sure, Satoshi saw them earlier, but he was still shocked to see her flee like that.
Smithy on the other hand had no knowledge of her bat-like wings, and took the sudden exposure quite well to be honest. His jaw wasn't dropped, and his eyes didn't widen. It was his scarred brow that showed this emotion, as it raised slowly while his once live eyes changed to a dead slate. "... Should I... go after her?" He looked back down to his captain.
"No... she'll come back... whatever you said or did scared her off. Boy Smithy, you've got a way with women." Letting out an aired chuckle before cringing slightly, Satoshi closed his eyes in pain, seeking some way out and a way into peace and relaxation. Both things that would have to wait at this rate.
"What about you? What do you think?" Smithy shifted his head up for a second, pointing his chin at Inoue, as if he was incapable of using his hands. "You wanna go after her, or should we take care of the captain first?"
"Oh no... no no no, by all means. Go get her. I can wait a little longer... besides... no telling who she might fly into this time." Satoshi cringed once more, clenching his jaw as he shut his eyelids tight.

Inoue looked up as the winged woman took flight once again, around the corner and out of sight. At least she wasn't hurt physically, though she did have what seemed to be a strange fear of men. As much as she wanted to go after her, as a medical kunoichi, her main priority was healing. Kage Bunshin would be one hell of a help right now, though...
The blonde looked back to the two and shook her head gently. "It's not good to let a broken back go unfixed for long. I'll go after her once the procedure is complete. Besides, it's my responsibility for the health of others," she stated before looking up to the one standing. "Try and grab his side and flip him on his stomach. Make sure to be gentle, though. I'm sure he doesn't want anymore pain than he's already feeling." Smiling apologetically, she glanced down to the captain.
"The healing shouldn't take that long, but you should take it easy after it's done."
