"Lets see..."
In one hand a book was held open with a thumb pressed to the pages parting them for study, in the other rested nothing as of yet. His palm rested open but through his body there was chakra being pushed forward through his Tenketsu trying to create a small glob of golden liquid. The glob formed at his wrist, his eyes traced back and forth from his wrist to his book as if studying a method of sorts. He swung his wrist down ward as if trying to eject the liquid by force, he accomplished such but not in the fashion he had hoped. He created something but it was only about kunai size and oddly shaped, it cracked and shattered after he clenched his fist around it.
"Well- that's certainly not right..."
He closed the book placing it down onto the grass under a tree, in the shade rested a few other books as well. Around him there were multiple training dummies set up along with trees cut down to their stumps. Inase knelt down for a moment observing the shards he created, he was trying to attain a solid weapon he could create on the spot aside from his minor projectiles that he had.
"I guess I need to apply more chakra to keep it in a stable shape and structure, or else it wont be able to handle direct combat."

Suddenly there was a man sitting next to Inase, and the chatter of small children was present somewhere on the other side of the tree. The man looked over at Inase with a blank stare, one that almost asked "what are you doing here?" despite the fact that he was the one encroaching on Inase's hiding spot. Leaning to the side, the tall-haired man poked his head from behind the tree, a multitude of kunai and shuriken whizzed, causing him to stick his head back in.
"Ayaaaahn~" The strange man moaned.
"I found him! I found him!" One of the children laughed.
"Did you get 'im?!"
"Kids, they love their live target practice." He snickered, shaking his head with a smile, he squirmed and arched his back, reaching onto it and plucking a shuriken from it. "Huh, and here I thought it was my shorts that were annoying me." The man took a better look at the Academy Teacher, his eyes narrowing slightly, "Ah, wait, I know you. You're Inase-san from the Academy, right?"
"Hey! I'm Joe! I used to teach there, too!" He tossed the bloody shuriken that was lodged in his back aside and offered Inase his hand for a handshake.

Inase paid no mind to the man at first and picked up another one of his books, he thumbed through the pages slowly until his attention was drawn away. The scream of the man caused is head to jerk looking at him finally, a shuriken whizzed right by his face clipping a few strands of hair. His eyes narrowed a bit clapping the book shut, he tossed it to the pile and stood up with a sigh. The man came before him, his head tilted a bit wondering what in the world was going on.
"..?!"
He knew his name.
"That's right but, how did you know my name?" His eyes focused a bit on the shuriken that was in his hand, yep it was bloody alright. The kids were playing a bit rough with him, Inase caught sight of one from behind the man and none of them were his students but they did have good aim. "Pleasure to meet you Joe-San, though I'm sure different circumstances would have been a bit better... and shouldn't you get that checked out, your back could have a bad wound in it." The moment felt a bit more then awkward, and that was putting it lightly.

The kids rounded the tree and Joe took off running toward the wooden training dummies. He turned to Inase and waved a bit before lunging over a wooden dummy while evading a number of shuriken. He made a swift escape into a heavily wooded area, the children laughed and pointed, chasing after him and seemingly leaving Inase alone.
The tree above shuffled, leaves tumbling down, followed by Joe being dropped from treetop to the floor with a stifled grunt and a loud thud. "Hnngh--" The man fixed his towering hair, sitting straight and pounding his shoulder, his brow trembling slightly, he glanced up at Inase with a pained expression. "Aaah~that'll keep 'em for a little while..."
"Like I was saying..." Joe picked a leaf from his hair, "you were the person that replaced me at the Academy! The Hokage reassigned me...claimed I was too rough with the kiddies..." Joe muttered, shrugging slightly. He popped up, examining the golden spiked projectiles that were lying around. He picked one out, biting on it.
"Whut're theeeeseee thiiings~?"

"Oh, I had no idea I had replaced you in the Academy Joe-Sensei, though I must say it is an honor to meet you."
He rose a brow and seemed to build a small sweat of 'wtf' while Joe was chewing on one of his spike shards. -_-'' "Uhm, that's actually a piece of a substance that comes from my body. My Kekkei Genkai, a golden liquid that I can use to shape into weapons. That piece, is the remains of my latest efforts in creating a large weapon to fight with."
He arched his right arm out and flexed his muscle, from his tenketsu emerged spikes that curved upward towards his hand and wrist. He held it out in the shape of a guard for Joe to observe more closely. "It's just a pain to bring to a higher level then this... I enjoy teaching at the Academy but its been a long time since I did some actual field work."

He pulled the golden shard from his mouth, glancing at it before popping it back in his mouth. "Taste is weird, needs a little barbecue." He groaned behind the piece in his mouth, standing straight and brushing off his shoulders, fixing his flak vest, idly looking at the crushed bits of golden crust lying around and humming softly under his breath.
"Well, with Konoha's current standings after the attack..." Joe's gaze rose, looking to Inase. "You may be able to do some work in the field, yet." He muttered, reaching into his flak vest and pulling a toothpick from the pocket, placing it in his teeth and smiling wide.
"Hey, this is boring. Let's go do somethin'."

"It's not suppose to taste good." -_-'
He sighed tossing his book aside to the tree, it landed perfectly closed on top of the rest as if he had the magic toss. "Well, with any luck I can get the field work then. This place is really still torn a bit because of Orochimaru and his deception with Sunagakure, though I wonder if its really that smart to trust them again so quickly..."
He yanked a scroll from his pack and laid it across the ground, he placed each book on the scroll laid out. His hands came together for a single seal and placed each book within the scroll for easier carrying.
"I was training, it's not meant to be fun. And what do you mean lets? You just kinda popped out of nowhere."

Joe stared at him with a blank expression on his face, as if he said something that didn't make sense. He turned away and motioned for his fellow teacher to follow after him, slipping his hands in his pockets and slipping between two dummies. "You like ramen? I like ramen. Let's go get some ramen. I got this assignment--and I often get hungry on missions, maybe we can knock it out in our free time, eh?"
Picking up some ramen on his chopsticks, he lifted it from his bowl, steam rising from between the noodles. His tall hair swayed back and forth, he looked over and smirked. "So, about that mission. I'm supposed to rendezvous with some guy or somethin' from some sort of outfit. You in?"

!
"Joe-san... did you even hear I word I said?! Yes ramen is good but I have more important things to do then to sit and talk. And I'm sure that you have a great ...m..ind to share information with, I just don't have the time."
He pulled down his mask sighing slurping down a few noodles, and now how the hell did he end up here. One second he was trying to assert some sort of authority over this old guy and the next thing he's eating some shrimp ramen. His head bobbed to the side a bit raising a brow, "You're suppose to meet someone, and do something, and they are from some place... and you think I'm gonna drag myself into that?" He got pulled into something once, he wouldn't let himself get pulled into another spot by this old man.

"Sure! You said you wanted to do a mission, right?!" He reached over, swatting Isane on the back with a large smile. "Ever since the Oto attack I've been hearing whispers about this Akatsuki after that Naruto-kid. I see in the next couple of years that since that Uzumaki fella' is such a vital part of Konoha, that our focus will start shifting from Oto to them..." Joe muttered, turning away from his bowl of ramen, rotating in his stool, resting his elbow and leaning back. His tall hair flopped backward as he leaned, staring up at the ceiling .
"But there are other factors, other people looking to destroy our great tree...I advised the Hokage about this new organization, but since they're not priority or don't pose a direct threat, yet..." He placed his thumb nail in his mouth, biting on it. It was a bad habit he had when he was in thought. "We've always been reactive, but luckily I got this mission out of her to meet with this guy...I'm afraid if I don't get anything on this mission, though, we're going to wait until they make their move to actually do something, ya'know?"

"I guess..."
He finished off his bowl slurping down a bit of the broth, he left out a sigh happily letting the bowl rest on the counter. He slid it away from him letting the cook take it back for washing, he eyed the waitress for a moment checking out her backside. His attention was pulled back when Uzumaki and the Akatsuki was mentioned.
"Naruto-kun?
Yeah- he's grown into quite the shinobi from what I heard, wish I coulda seen him save the Kazekage really, I peeked at his previous records once. Had to have been the biggest failure I had ever seen. It's simply amazing on how much he's changed in only a few years..."
He pressed his hands together resting his chin on them, his eyes went back to Joe-san. "This mission, I'll join you on it but I'm curious... does it have anything to do with Akatsuki and Naruto-kun?" The subject felt as if it was taboo, Akatsuki indeed did send a chill of sorts up the spines of many shinobi, sadly Inase was one of them. At his current level he always wondered how he would match up with one of the cloaked devils.
"Regardless if it has anything to do with them, I'm in
I was only curious."
He placed down a few bills and some change for his meal pushing to the the end of the counter letting the chef take it. He once more eyed the cute waitress girl, if he recalled her name was Ayame.

"Well, there's the possibility that it does. Naturally, most threats have to factor in our Jinchūriki into the village's overall strength. That possibility is the only reason why Tsunade even bothered allowing me to investigate further based on rumors." Joe admitted, Teuchi stepped up to the bar, taking Joe's bowl and emptying it in the sink behind him with a grunt.
"Word is is that these guys are called SEKAI. Rumors have it these guys are a group of guys who muscle in on ninja territory...then do the job for more than it's worth. Overall bullies. They're seeking to weaken Konoha, and they're starting by taking our clients." The man sighed, combing his fingers through his hair upward. "Real boring crap, truth is is that I may be running blind into a fight."

"Never heard of Sekai- but really its been a while since I've jumped into some actual combat. If you're jumping into a fight Joe, my better advice would be to avoid it but- teaching gets boring sometimes."
He turned his head to Joe and gave a short nod; seems like Inase was about to jump into something else that he wasn't sure of. However this time, he wasn't going to be enjoying a nice bowl of Ramen unless he found lunch on the way. "I guess if you need the company and backup I'll come with you Joe-San, I can't accept bullies in school and I sure can't accept them in Hi no Kuni."

"Ah, well...I gotta' run, I actually should be on a mission now." Joe looked at his watch, sitting up and rubbing the miso soup from his vest. He combed his hair upwards with his fingers and glanced over at Isane, giving him a stiff pat on the back before slipping from the stand. "I'll see you tomorrow! Thanks for the ramen!" He yelled, hurrying off--
Teuchi stepped up in front of Isane, slapping a small paper bill next to his bowl of ramen and crossing his arms. It was like something out of some sort of comedy, having someone skip out on a bill so suddenly. "Hope you enjoyed your meal." He stated with a smirk, the paper marked with two bowls, Isane's and the unfinished deluxe bowl Joe ordered.

"I'm in Joe-San."
He stood up that moment and didn't even bother to collect change, this old man who came stumbling out of nowhere with a Shuriken in his back and somehow convinced Inase to go with him. Whether it was his intention or not Inase wanted a piece of action beyond the class room. His heart picked up a bit at the thought of getting back into the game and putting his skills out to the test.
"I'll see you tomorrow when we go take care of these Sekai people."
