"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me~" Turning to the left, he dodges the flying drunk by seconds. "We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot~" Raising a hand next to the outside brawl, he gracefully catches the mug as it flies off the table. "Drink up, me hearties, yo ho~" Flipping the empty mug over his shoulder, he sways around the block again, supporting the head of a falling maiden and then continuing his stride. "We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot~" Spinning in mid step, he turns around and skips ahead as the crowd now behind him throws a man his way. "Drink up me hearties yo ho~" Supporting the fainting maiden once more, he continues to stroll down the street.
"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me~" Ducking slightly to avoid the flying bottle as he entered the bar, he spun on a single heel and landed on a stool. "We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack, drink up me 'harties, yo ho~" Leaning back in his chair and raising a hand to meet the back of the falling brawler, he shoved the drunk off his lap and grabbed his mug, which was still half full. That's right, half full. Not half empty. "Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack, drink up, me hearties, yo ho~"
Hours Later
The chaos of the early night stopped completely, as the slightly civilized people began to scuttle out of their houses to the boozed stained bars. There they would chat with hushed tones, laughing every now and then. Drunks would wake from their unconscious slumber and hold their heads for support as they dragged themselves home. Those that stayed and arrived now were the real crowd, each with a personality that they were trying to hide. These were the late hours. The times that Satoshi loved the most.
"Shōchū, please." He waved a hand over the counter, sliding a few yen pieces across the wood.
"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me."

Meanwhile, it seemed all of the metropolitan city's edifices would stop their inebriated tremblings in the eyes of those who were drunkenly stumbling through its streets. Guards pressed through the bustling evening gates, making way for a large caravan which seemed to hold a rare and precious cargo. One would think it a holiday, or even a parade the way this ice blue chariot carried the jewel that was so perfectly hidden inside it. Shinobi outwardly walked along its sides while others stayed cloaked and hidden amongst the crowd and the rooftops, and one even henged himself daringly on top as a decoration. Whatever was in this, the people knew that it was of the utmost importance.
The crowd was so thick, however, that the caravan of travelers' paces were slowed greatly, causing several of the ninja to have to remove people standing and watching nearby.
"MAKE WAY! GET OUT OF HERE!" Several of the city's own guards called out, pushing people back to the left and two the right of the street in a belated attempt to clear the roads. "STOP GAWKING!" One called out as he pressed his club to the back of a man's neck.
The villagers safely on the sides whispered to one another and mumbled softly about what it could be. Was it another of their city's leaders imported treasures? Was it a celebrity? The all sipped their sake and gossiped warmly.
Then, if one was truly paying attention and not gossiping, they would have seen a beautiful visage peek from one of the heavily curtained windows for a few, long seconds -- and then just as mysteriously as her face appeared in the small window, it would disappear.

"Hm?"
Satoshi looked over his shoulder as he balanced on his chair lazily. There, in all it's perfection, was a caravan of the deepest and purest blue. There was no doubt that inside would be treasures beyond his wildest dreams. Whether those treasures took the form of gold and jewels, or a beautiful woman, he would never know.
The bartender who had shared stories with him as he drank was now gossiping with his local customers. With no one to talk to, Satoshi was left to gaze at the caravan all alone, and keep his questions to himself. There was no doubt that whatever was inside, it was of extreme importance to the guards protecting it. With his untrained eyes he could make out several shinobi from Kirigakure. It couldn't have been that important if they were moving in plain sight, so that's when his paranoid genius kicked in.
Putting two and two together, Satoshi shifted his weight and swiveled his chair on one leg, then rocked out of it and strided towards the door. His body froze in midstep as a slight movement caught his eye. There, inside the window, was the face of a woman. Not just any woman mind you, but one of who's beauty went against the normal limits of nature. Even though her appearance was clouded by the thick curtain protecting her face from the eyes of the commoners, Satoshi felt like he could see her face clearly already, and feel her smooth skin with his fingertips, gently cradling her in his arms after rescuing her from her armed escort.
Hold it hold it hold it. Get a hold of yourself Sato. You've fallen for plenty of women in the past. What makes her different? Besides the fact that she could be nobility... or famous... but when has that stopped you? No! I can't allow another woman to effect my life again. This has happened to me so many times before. And besides... it's not like she'd ever pick me out of a crowd. I'm a pirate. A scoundrel. Sure, common women fall for me all the time, but not those of nobility. They're into Shinobi and whatnot... people who actually have money, not steal it.
Still, he couldn't help but wish to know more. When he assumed he had frozen still, he soon found out after his thought process that he had been walking the entire time. He was already out of the doorway, and slipping through the crowd subconsciously. Her beautiful face was already gone, and then he began to wonder if he had imagined the whole thing. No. Such beauty cannot be created on whim.
He'd find out who that woman was, and steal her heart, or die trying. Of course, when faced with choices of survival or death, every self-respecting pirate would cling to survival, but not this one. Satoshi was different. He was the leading man of this grand play known as life, and do you know what they say about the leading man?
He never dies.
