Afternoon of Konoha- Track 17"Alright, and that'll be it for today." The brown haired boy said at the front of the classroom. "Remember, the Substitution Jutsu is your most basic jutsu, but it can save your life. When in doubt always fall back to your fundamentals." The chatter of the Academy Students drowned out Kitsu's last words as a couple of them stood up and ran for the door. "Uh... class dismissed..." Kitsu sighed and shook his head, Kids, when'll they ever learn? his right hand came up and scratched his jaw. Come to think of it, he was the same when he was an Academy Student... Just as hyper and just as unwilling to learn... "How does Tomoya-san put up with these runts?" Kitsu whispered to himself. Fill in for a day and they take complete advantage of the situation. He smiled to himself and walked back to the desk at the front of the classroom and picked up a small stack of books and folders. Sooner or later, he'd be the one teaching these little guys... Kitsu's stomach churned at the thought and tightened itself in a knot. They'd be the ones looking up to him... Or... were they already? The sounds died as each of the children left the classroom. He picked up the stack of papers and a small piece of paper fell to the desk's surface. Kitsu tucked the stack of papers under an arm and picked up the note. Another sigh left Kitsu as he crushed the paper in his fist and tossed it into the wire waste bin next to the desk. Well... it wasn't polite to keep her waiting... Who knew how long she'd been waiting already? The boy's purple kimono flowed behind him as he walked toward the door, after switching off the lights, he closed it behind him and locked it with the key he had been given.

"EVERYONE RUUUUUN~!!!"
"HENGE-CHAAAAN~!!!!"
"OH SWEET MOTHER OF--"
Screams of joy and fright echoed in his wake. Joy from his own mouth, and fright from the mouthes of everyone in the area. Carts were tossed left and right, while shadows danced through alley-ways like madmen with candy. Running through the streets was the infamous Ichigeninihiideru no Henge, or just Henge for short. Though, it wasn't exactly running. More like riding. Underneath him was a fox the size of two men, even greater than a horse in both speed and size. The kitsune soared through the air as much as possible, dodging carts and villagers best it could. Henge, or Banrai, was attempting to steer the summoned beast, in an attempt to halt it altogether.
"CHII, IF YOU DON'T STOP RIGHT NOW, I'LL HA--" Before he could finish his sentence, the red fox spun around a corner, smacking a cart full of cabbages with it's tail. In frantic disamay, the cabbage salesman fell to his knees in an attempt to dodge both beast and flying food.
"MY CABBAGES!!!"
"S--Sorry! Whoaaah~!!!"
Clinging onto his last nerve, he jerked the kitsune's ear to the left, forcing it to turn. This was the worst choice he had made all day. Far more worse than agreeing to train Chii. She was like a loose canon, and she was one of the fastest kitsune summons around, and it was Henge's job to watch over all foxes, no matter what domain they come from.
His stupid mistake drove Chii straight for the ninja academy, where Henge spotted several students walking in a group to go play ninja in the park. Konkon, the pink fox that Henge had been assigned many moons ago to train, was frantically trying to catch up with Chii and Banrai, moving her small and pretty paws as fast as she could.
This was it. Live or die. In front of the racing kitsune were at least four students, and behind was a dashing Konkon. On top was the supposed master of the kitsune summons, and rumored legendary swordsman. Of course, he would always deny these things, but this wasn't the time for rumors and ramble.
Reacting fast, Henge slammed his sandaled feel into the legs of the speedy fox and forced it to leap high into the air. Without a hint or sign, the Jōnin leapt off the beast and slide underneath it by grabbing onto it's body. He then trusted it with all his strength, forcing the beast to change into it's back and hurdle towards the ground with him on it's belly. Their eyes locked for no longer than a second, and the beasts body went limp, not from any sort of jutsu, but out of free will.
Sliding his body across it's side, Henge laid against it's back and changed it's position, forcing it to land on it's paws. With a graceful thud, the summoned fox threw up it's head in a noble fashion, before disappearing into a cloud of smoke, leaving only the triple bladed swordsman and a pink fox in it's wake.
"Henge-chaaaan~" The pink fox looked up at him with teary eyes, and he knelt down to gently pat her on the head.
"I know... I know... Chii is a poopyhead."

Kitsu heard a large crashing sound outside and heard the screams of a couple children. What the...? The boy ran out of the front door and his face turned white and his mouth gaped open. A huge fox creature was laying on its back, a man on its stomach and several other foxes panting next to them. But it wasn't that which got the man all rialed up. In the chaos of running, the tail of the fox had caught a rope of clothes which was attatched to several garbage cans and the contents of those garbage cans was kindly distributed through the route of the village the fox had taken. Not to mention they had crashed into the front gate of the Academy knocking down the left side of it when exiting the facility.
"W-Wha... M-my fence!" Kitsu dispared more to himself than anyone. "My beautiful brown fence! Completly destroyed! It took me two weeks to repair it from the last encounter with wild summons!" Kitsu hung his head, a sigh escaping from him. The children were staring at the foxes, ooh-ing and ahh-ing over them, other children didn't pay any mind, saying their parents could do better and what-not. Kitsu didn't have either of these thoughts when he walked zombie-like to the fence.
"It was you! You were the one who did this last time too, weren't you?!" Kitsu asked accusingly to the man, his face dark and a vein looked about ready to burst in the boy's head as he turned back, his eyebrow twitching in an evil smile. "Do you know how long it took me to repair the fence last time? THREE WEEKS! A whole three weeks of endless work!" ohhh, now he'd done it! and there was only one way to settle this! The his eyes twinkled as he pointed a finger at the man. "You're going to stay right where you are and help clean this up!"

Oh crap.
Banrai could remember the days of the academy. He was scared to death of his teacher. Yelling all the time, and throwing out punishments and poor grades. He was lucky he even survived, let alone passed. This young kid didn't look anything like his old teacher. Of course it had been nearly thirty somewhat years since he first joined the academy, but still. Such an influence could never leave his mind.
While the kid didn't have the same appearance as the old teacher, he still had the fury. A toned down fury, but still. As his finger shot out and pointed at the rugged samurai, he could feel a dark shiver run down his spine. This kid couldn't be older than fifteen, maybe sixteen on a good day. The position proclaimed him as a Chūnin at the lowest, or even a prodigy Jōnin, but that was more than rare.
Banrai grumbled at the false accusation. While he did play a part in the most recent of summon shenanigans, he had nothing to do with the previous attack on the fence. Still, he had made a mess, and it was his job to help clean up. Of course, it was also his job to attempt to sneak out of the work and go do something more meaningful. Like waving a finger at Chii, or flirting hopelessly to people he's never met before, and probably never will.
"Eh... yeah... sure sure, just calm down kid. Sorry about the mishap. Chii is normally a good listener." He stratched the back of his head for a moment, trying to ease the tension in the situation. His gaze was refocused and redirected to the pink fox sitting happily at his side. "Konkon, your dad really likes making a fool out of me, doesn't he?"
The fox only smiled, clearly saying yes in a mischievous fashion. Konkon was an average size for all foxes, but far from an average color. She was pink, rather than the common red or orange, or even white. Most fox summons however had unique colors to them, though many of the higher ups had the common colors, Konkon's father being orange and the supposed boss of all the other foxes.
"Oi, uhh, kid." He loved hanging around children, but not children that were already on their way to becoming teachers. Where's the fun if your youth is taken away and replaced with seriousness? "I suppose you want me to start now, right?"
Without waiting for an answer, the rugged Jōnin formed In and rolled his neck slowly. Within an instant, three other Banrai's were standing behind him, all scratching the bridge of their nose with one hand or the other. His supposed carelessness was then replaced by a skilled serious gaze.
Jutsu: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique) Rank: B-rank Type: Supplementary Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. Unlike other clones, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person. Any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. It's also useful for training purposes, since the total amount of experience the user gains is multiplied by the total number of clones being used to train. Using it in this manner is far more difficult, however, since a large number of clones are needed to make a significant difference in the training time. .
