It was another day in the life of Nukarumi Deido, and she was bored. She hadn't been on any missions in a while, and she was itching to see some action. But, for now, she would have to be content with waiting until she was needed. Maybe she would get some ramen or something. She was a little hungry, and it sounded incredibly good at the moment. Of course...it would suck if she was called in for a mission before she could finish it. The chances of that actually happening were low, but they were there nonetheless. She sighs, then nods to herself "Alrighty, then. Ramen it is!"

( Sorry it took so long to post. Won't happen again, scout's honor. :3 )

In the middle of the street, he sat with his legs crossed one over the other, his palms pressed to his knees, his chest poked out as people navigated around the boy who sat there. Why? Why was he sitting there? Because his daddy told him so, his daddy told him it'd build character and guts to sit in the middle of a busy street such as this in the middle of everyone's way. He teetered and tottered back and forth every now and then, hearing the murmur of the crowd around him. But there was one sigh that caught his attention, one utterance that he locked in on--
"Ramen?!" He gasped, hopping up from his seated position, he pin-pointed the girl who was moving up the street who mentioned getting ramen and within a instant--he was by her side, smiling up at her.
"Yes, let's get ramen!"

"Eh?" Nukarumi blinks upon hearing the voice of another, and looks over to see Kotaro, who seems to have invited himself along for her ramen trip. Though tempted to boot the younger ninja away, she shrugs and decides that 'the more the merrier'. She looks him over briefly, before finally speaking up "Alright, but I'm not paying for you." She continues walking, not really caring if he followed and speaks once more "By the way, the name's Nukarumi Deido. Nice to meet'cha"

Pounding on his chest, he poked it out before placing his hands to his hips and smiling. "I'm Ikkyō Kōtaro! The strongest Genin this side of Konoha!" He exclaimed, smiling wide, nodding frantically, his ponytail bounced up and down as he tried to pose and keep up with Deido. He scratched his chin, checking his pockets and pulling out a small amount of pocket change, an amount that he could manage to get a small bowl of ramen with.
"So, what's your rank?! Do you have any cool Jutsu?!" He asked, examining the girl up and down, walking circles around her as he did so.

She smiles lightly, watching the attempt to show off while he struggled to keep up...this alone was work having him around "I see. Sounds like someone to keep an eye on. As for me, I'm a Chunin. I hope to become a Jonin soon, though, and become the sensei of my own team. Team Nukarumi...it just has a nice ring to it..." She lets out a sigh "Anyway, yeah, I guess you could say that. They might not be as fancy or flashy as some of the others, but they get the job done...how about you? As the strongest Genin, I'm sure you must have an amazing arsenal of jutsu"

He seemed to calm down when he was asked about his Jutsu, which were practically non-existent. He sighed, crossing his arms and pouting, his brows knitted pinching at the skin between his eyebrows. "Well..." He murmured, scratching at the back of his neck, rolling his head and gazing off to the side.
"I have a bunch of awesome Jutsu...but they're super secret, so I can't tell you about them!" He pumped his fist, clearing his throat, coughing a bit as they came upon a ramen joint. It was no Ichiraku, but it would do. "Here, here! Let's eat here!" He yelled, pointing at the ramen stand, smiling wide.

She smirks...she knew his type all too well. He was alot like she was at his age, thus she saw right through his attempts to show off "Translation - You don't know any jutsu...or you do, but you prefer Taijutsu. Either way, I'm impressed. It's not easy to specialize primarily in Taijutsu, and I've heard that those who do can be an unstoppable force in melee battle...with the right training, of course. Frankly, it's my weakest area, and what little I can do, I need a blade..." She briefly, but not completely unsheathes her kodachi in order show her point. She then stops when Kotaro suggests Ichiraku, to which she smiles and nods "Sounds good...I haven't been here in forever."

He hopped up onto one of the stools, plopping down onto it with a sigh and smacking the bar in front of him. He eagerly awaited to be attended to with a wide smile, spinning back and forth in his stool, his ponytail whipping back and forth. A old man stepped up to the bar with a grunt, his mustache seemed to have a mind of it's own as it shuffled back and forth across his top lip.
"Whaddaya want now, kid?!"
"Ah! Is that anyway to talk to your favorite customer, Jakamaru-sama?!" He asked, wagging his finger disapprovingly.
"You still have yet to pay your bill from last time, runt! I can't have you running up your tab if you're never gonna' pay it!"
"I'll pay it! I'll pay it!" Kōtaro sighed, waving his hands in a downward motion, trying to get the man to simmer down. "I want one bowl of Chicken Miso Ramen, please!"

She smirks "I see you're a regular here..." She then turns to the man "I'll pay for his food this time. Anyways, I'll have a bowl of pork....no...make that beef...yeah...beef ramen...extra meat, and make it the largest size you've got." She smirks....she wasn't sure what compelled her to change her mind about paying for him...other than she was starting to like this kid. "I look forward to the day you become a Chunin...we might get to work together. It'll certainly be interesting" It would be more accurate to say she was thinking out loud than rather than actually talking to him, but he would likely hear her nonetheless
