This technique was developed by Shūinii after years of research and exposure to herbs and mixtures. The long dead Kekkei Genkai of the Hazume was once a very useful ability, but is now told as a fairy tale to the youngest of children, placing smiles upon their faces by their father's words. Shūinii spent a total of four years studying what the now dead Kekkei Genkai really did. Many stories claimed it gave them an insight into the minds of others, reading them like an open book. Others claimed it was the secret to unlocking evolution and eternal life. They were all only half correct.
The clan's true nature was not to look into the mind of another, but into their own mind. It wasn't about the evolution of the body, but the evolution of the soul and mind, unlocking the secrets stored within the brain. Even to this day, he isn't at a fourth of learning it's full nature, but he has found an interesting side to the fables.
It is said that the mind carries memories of past events, but what about the DNA? DNA is passed down from generation to generation, linking souls together for an eternity in a genetic code too small and mysterious to crack. Shū has come to the conclusion that not only does the mind store his own memories, but the memories of his ancestors, as do the minds of everyone else around him. The only difference being that his clan was able to learn the secrets passed down through generation in blood, literally.
While this was his assumption, he had no way of connecting with the lost minds of the dead. Instead, he connected with his own mind, leaving traces and words etched into the inside of his skull for his brain to read. The only difficult part however was the fact that these messages weren't from the past, but instead, from the future. Ten seconds in the future to be exact. Shūinii can leave a memory inside his mind, inside his own genetic structure, and learn of it's whereabouts ten seconds in the past.
The only use he has ever needed for this lost and vivid art, is halting his own death. If a blade were to fall down and strike him through the back while he wasn't looking, his last moment of living, and the last strands of will inside him would leave that moment in his genetic structure for his past self to be aware of. By doing this, he can avoid his own death, or even a major wound, so long as it is ten seconds in the future at the latest. Any later and it cannot be done, as the message simply won't reach that far.

The second of the many unknown applications came to him during an assassination. After failing to strike down his target, and only removing an ear, Shūinii took the ear back to his contact as a trophy for the crime lord. When the thug disapproved of the gift, Shūinii instantly whipped around and threw a knife out from his side, striking his target in the heart. The man had followed him to the hideout, seeking revenge and his lost ear. No message was etched in his mind, and Shūinii felt extremely dizzy, and nearly blinded.
Seeking an answer to this, Shū spent a week studding and replaying the events in his head, questioning even Jashin for clouding his senses at the smell of blood, then, he realized what had happened. It was so obvious, he couldn't help but feel stupid. The source of his clouded senses was the blood itself. He had noticed a sudden adrenaline rush for every kill that he made, and every time blood had spilled onto his fingers, but nothing like this. The secret was within the mind, and Shū went out to learn it.
Long story short, Shū found that his senses, all five of them, had been mutated. in a way. His pupils hardly reacted to the sun anymore, and the dark was gray more than black. His callused fingertips could feel every hair on his arm and head, along with pain again. His mouth screamed in joy every time he took a bite of food, tasting more delicious and flavorful than ever before. His ears rang and forced him to his knees at the sound of a gong, three blocks away. Then came his nose. His nose picked up on the faintest of smells, locating a nearly odorless poison from across the room. Out of all these improved senses, he found that each one was tapping into power from the other.
When he listened to two men in a crowd for information, he found that his taste and sight grew blurry, and the dango that was once delicious had turned bitter. When he tested his nose to find the freshest of fruits, he crinkled his brow as he found that all sound had just disappeared for a split second. His mind had shut off his other senses to improve the one in use, much like how a blind man can hear that which cannot be heard.
These improved senses came at a cost, no doubt. If he were to stand next to a rotting corpse, he would have to strain himself to listen and look, canceling out his sense of smell as the rotting flesh would sting the inside of his brain. Each sense has been greatly amplified, and because of this, large amounts of sound can easily hurt the ears, and blinding light has a new definition, forcing him to cry tears of blood for his lord.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
