Background:
The Inuzuka clan was one of Konohagakure’s oldest families and unique in that they bred and raised ninja dogs – ninken – to be their comrades in battle, sharing an unbreakable bond with their canine companions. A skill unseen in other ninja villages. The Inuzuka are a large clan, plentiful and strong within Konohagakure.
It was an early August morning when another member was added to the Inuzuka clan, just as the large golden sun reared its head above the stone Hokage faces, releasing its hot rays down upon the Hidden Leaf Village, destroying shadows and basking everything in a rich golden light. It was a healthy baby boy that was born, perfectly healthy with a strong set of lungs on him; a tuff of dark brown hair grew from the top of his scalp. He bore the markings that were notorious amongst the Inuzuka, dark red fang-shaped markings were striking upon his cheeks, and two tiny canine-like teeth were visible within his mouth. However, he was without the golden hues and slit-like pupils of his clan, due to the fact that his mother had not originally been from the Hidden Leaf. Instead, he supported a strange pair of eyes, with his left being a striking pale shade of blue, whilst his right was of a poisonous green hue. Following tradition, his parents gave him a name based on a feature of a dog’s physical appearance. “Teiru”, they named him, meaning “tail”.
Teiru Inuzuka grew up tall and strong and did his two ninja parents proud, showing natural strength and determination, for whilst Teiru wasn’t particularly gifted in anything, he never gave up when attempting a skill, always achieving his goals in the end. By the age of six, Teiru was an older brother, his parents giving birth to another son who they named “Manako” or, affectionately, “Mana”, which meant “eye”, and though Teiru loved his younger brother, he did not spend a lot of time with him as he was enrolled into the village’s academy.
It was more than apparent that Teiru was not one of the rare individuals who were dubbed “geniuses” of the ninja arts, not possessing any natural talent for ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu despite coming from a famous ninja clan as well as possessing ninja parents. It required many attempts for him to achieve the simplest of goals and though Teiru’s fierce determination drove him to succeed and to never give in, it was a frustrating experience that left others with very little confidence in him. In the end, Teiru only managed to graduate from the academy by the skin of his teeth.
Upon graduating, at the age of twelve, Teiru was taken aside by his father and informed that he had reached an important stage in the life of any Inuzuka member, the stage where he was to be presented with his life partner – a ninken. In fact, Teiru was presented with two ninken by his father, which were two wolf puppies that barely reached Teiru’s ankles. One was female with gold-and-white fur, and icy blue fierce hues, the other, and also smaller one, was female also with thick ink-black fur and calm, intelligent silvery eyes. Ecstatic with the two canines, Teiru proceeded to name them “Kin” and “Sumi” respectively. With his two ninken, Teiru was placed into a squad with two other genin and a jonin sensei, who he remained with for just over two years.
It wasn’t long after he had been placed into a squad when disaster struck Teiru’s life. Both of his parents were sent out onto an “S-rank” mission by the Hokage and three other jonin-level ninja to take care of some problems occurring in a neighbouring village. None of them ever returned, all having been killed in battle and the mission rendered a failure. Orphaned, Teiru was in a state of dark depression for a few months whilst he tried to cope with the loss of his parents and how it was now up to him to provide for his younger brother and for himself. Members of his clan did their best to help the two brothers, providing them with shelter, food and other necessaries and taking care of Mana whenever Teiru had to leave for a mission, they also often paid the occasional visit to make sure that the two were fine. Teiru appreciated their efforts but mostly turned down their efforts to help, wanting to look after his brother alone. Mana now came first in Teiru’s life but the attention that wasn’t being reserved for his younger brother was focussed entirely on his training and missions, perfecting the jutsu that he already knew, strengthening the bonds that he shared with Kin and Sumi and improving their abilities, and designing his own jutsu. Often, Teiru ignored his limits and pushed himself to dangerous ends, visiting the hospital many times before his fourteenth birthday, but the results of such arduous training was becoming apparent. The results of his missions were impressive and he was no longer a burden on his squad, instead he was actually taking leadership when his sensei did not, soon showing himself to be the strongest of his age-group. When it came time to take the Chunin Exams, the first stage seemed to be the part that Teiru found any difficulty in passing, stumbling a few times with the task of cheating without getting caught, and he passed the second stage with such swiftness that he created a new record, finishing in just over a day, and the last also proved to be rather simple for him. At the age of fifteen, Teiru Inuzuka was an official chunnin of Konohagakure.
For the next few years, Teiru took part in many higher rank missions, mostly “Bs” but also the occasional “A”, and on numerous occasions led his own squad, his success rate being quite high. He gained the qualities highly sought after by those who desired to be leaders and earned the respect of many within the village. He also spent a lot of his time teaching within the academy, preferring that to participating in missions that required him to take life. A task that he was not overly fond of doing. Though not the most sharpest or the most unique of the shinobi found within the Hidden Leaf, it was a known fact that Teiru was still one of its most talented shinobi, a fact made all the more apparent when he was given the rank of “Jonin” at the age of seventeen, having proven his worth to the Hokage.
Though still quite young, due to being still in his teenaged years, Teiru has gained a reputation within the ninja world due to some of the more reckless missions that he has taken part in. None more famous than the “River Country Massacre” – an event forever darkened within the small country’s history when a large number of foreign ninja tried to take control over the land for their own dark desire only to be stopped by the Hidden Leaf ninja who had come to the country’s aid, with Teiru being one of those ninja. Over a hundred men died at Teiru’s hands that day, the day which he earned the nickname “Hell Hound”. A name well-known and mentioned in many villages.

Mental Analysis:
Few ninja are fortunate enough to be born with a natural prowess with ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu, to find the ninja arts to be as natural to them as breathing and thus are dubbed “Geniuses”. Teiru is not a part of this minority, not being naturally gifted at anything or of a genius-level IQ, and thus he has had to work incredibly hard to reach the rank that he is at, possessing a tremendous deal of determination. The type that allows him to achieve almost anything with enough time and patience, that refuses to allow him to give in even when encountered with agony or even death. His training as a chunnin, and then as a jonin, has improved his analytical abilities greatly and whilst he isn’t a genius, he is still intelligent and able to solve complex problems and see through any deception around him. Teiru is very skilled at teamwork and can co-operate with any style of person, even those he despises, if the goal is important enough. And like most Inuzuka members, he is a skilled tracker thanks to his sharp nose and the powerful noses of his ninken.
Despite his fierce determination to succeed and obtain his goals, Teiru is very calm and laid-back in personality, even verging on laziness. He prefers not to break a sweat if he can help it and would rather lounge about with a book or catch a nap than to actually work, he also enjoys taking part in games such as shogi, though prefers games that require little effort such as “scissors, paper, rock.” He isn’t the type to allow emotions to affect him or to sway his thoughts or actions, in fact very little actually seems to affect Teiru’s state of mind, appearing calm and indifferent in even the most stressful situations. Anger, frustration, fear or sadness are foreign emotions to him, and it is his passiveness that is his strongest trait as a leader. At the same time, Teiru is one of the many who strongly believe in planning ahead before acting and though he isn’t the most skilled of strategists, he rarely ever acts recklessly, doing his best to keep himself and his comrades out of danger at all times.
Loyalty is an important and highly valued trait of Teiru’s. To him, blood is thicker than water but loyalty is even more powerful than blood, for that reason all of Teiru’s actions are decided on what he believes is best for the Hidden Leaf Village, which he places in high esteem and only second after his family, which consists only of his younger brother Mana, and his ninken, Kin and Sumi. Teiru’s loyalty for his village is so strong that he would gladly sacrifice his own life for any one soul who belonged to the Hidden Leaf, without a second’ thought. However, Teiru could be persuaded to betray his village for the well-being of his younger brother, who he loves most of all. Even still, traitors are the lowest of scum in Teiru’s mind and, in his own thoughts, are beyond redemption, second only to them are those who abuse those weaker than them.
Having been orphaned at a young age, Teiru’s life has not been an easy one, only made all the more difficult by the battles he has experienced and the life that he has erased. However, his state of mind is probably a lot healthier than the minds of other shinobi, as Teiru still possesses a conscious and isn’t obsessed with thoughts of power or revenge. Whilst he enjoys inflicting his own style of punishment upon traitors and enemies of Kohana, he dislikes taking life and tries to avoid killing when possible, usually aiming only to maim or subdue, Teiru also tries to end his fights as quickly as possible and sees no point in tormenting or bad-mouthing his opponent whilst doing so. More often than not, Teiru feels remorse in killing and takes the time to burry those that he has killed.
He is never seen without his two wolf companions at his side, whom he feels are as much a part of him as his own heart, even going as far as to keep them at his side whilst he sleeps, believing them to be the closest creatures to him to the point where they are more than just his comrades, pets or friends, but rather they are his family. The bond that Teiru shares with Kin and Sumi is so strong that he can even understand them without words and they him, as if they were sharing a telepathic wave link with each other. Teiru is allergic to tomatoes, causing him to hate them with a passion and to avoid them as much as possible, his utter dislike for them causing him to pale and become physically repulsed just by gazing upon them, he is also intolerant to the scent of demon aura and garlic (stating that both make his nose feel as if it was on fire), suffers from sea-sickness, is a chain-smoker and gets nervous when around clowns or people who wear too much make-up. Teiru’s life ambition is to serve Kohana as best as a ninja as his parents were, whilst also keeping his kid brother out of trouble.
Physical Evaluation File
File Photo:
Height: 6’2
Weight: 74 kg
Eyes: Left is a striking shade of pale blue. Right is of a poisonous green hue.
Hair: Chin-length and untidy. Dark brown in colour.
Distinguishing Features: Mix-matching eyes. Red fang-like marks on cheeks and fanged teeth. Chain-smoker. Dog-collar worn around throat. Two wolves constantly at his side, one gold and the other black.
Attire:
Teiru’s attire is quite casual when compared to the outfits of other shinobi.
Long, tightly-fitting black denim jeans are worn upon the lower-half of his body, which makes his tall frame all the more noticeable but suits his toned legs well. They reach to his ankles and make his legs seem slim, sitting just below his waist, whilst his large feet are protected by ankle-reaching, open-toed black sandals, and a pale pouch is worn sidewards around his waist, resting against his right side. Concealing the upper-half of his body is a vivid orange tank-shirt that strongly emphasises Teiru’s muscular arms and toned chest and stomach, and worn over that is a heavy dark green jacket with a pale fur-rimmed collar and sleeves, equipped with a hood. Around his throat hangs a silver dog collar that supports the kanji for “strength” and also bares Teiru’s ninja registration number. Lastly, around his head so that it masks his forehead, sitting under his dark fringe, is Teiru’s forehead protector, which is black in colour and bares the emblem of Konohagakure upon it, marking Teiru as a Hidden Leaf ninja.
Never far away from him, Teiru is always found with his two ninken hounds at his side, both of whom reach up to his waist and are almost his height when standing on their hind legs. Kin, the larger of the two ninken and the most physically unusual of the two of them, supports thick golden fur and a snow-white underbelly. Her limbs are toned and powerful, utterly lethal, with icy blue hues and silver piercings adorning both of her ears, four on each. Sumi is slightly smaller than Kin and is more slender, being the weaker but swifter of the two, she also looks like any regular wolf, being without any peircings or tattoos. Her fur is thick and ink-black, grey around her stomach, throat, feet and chest. Her eyes are also completely silver and appear as intelligent as any human. Both ninken are capable of human speech but prefer to communicate only to Teiru and in their native tongue, but when they do speak human, their voices are deep and gravelled and hard to understand.
