TAKAISŌ
THE SUN THAT SHINES BRIGHTLY Turning over the heavens, burning through evil. Ready to change the world, and eradicate despair. Let the morning sun shine through the sky, watching over us all.
"Without looking back, I advance on a path I believe in. Someday... I can definitely reach it--!!" [PROLOGUE] In a world masked with violence and bloodshed, terror and malice, many have tried to hammer down these evils with sheer might alone. Many have come close, but have paid with their lives to achieve a mere fraction of purity throughout the land. Where there is good, their is evil, the balance that keeps the two in harmony is steadily giving way to the side of atrocity.
Who will restore this symmetry that keeps the world at peace? A chance, a hope, to surpass the omnipotent and expunge despair of the face of the earth. To become paramount, standing at the highest point of the earth, shining bright for the whole world to witness. TAKAISŌ!!
[CHAPTER ONE | Birth of the rising sun!] His eyes were opened into the world, pupils radiant like the morning sun gazing into the humanity. This was his birth, a simple one at that, but would soon grow more complicated. Inherited from the Kō Ichizoku, his family were the result of an exodus scattering across the shinobi world. The disperse lead him to Tsuchi no Kuni, having him settle within Iwagakure no Sato.
The harsh realities of war and conflict struck Takaisō emotionally. Losing his father in war, and his mother kidnapped by an abstruse group of bandits. Distraught, ripped apart and at the tender age of five, there was nobody to fend for him.
[CHAPTER TWO | Loner in Iwa] Roaming the Iwagakure streets, not a penny to his name, clothes in tatters, in such an abhorrent state, Takaisō had no choice but to steal so that he could maintain his survival. Two years had passed since the carnage that ripped through his petite family.
"Hey brat! Come back with that bread--!!"
"Huh...guh..." panted Takaisō, evading through the public, bread in hand sprinting barefoot across the village. His speed was impeccable, flawless with every move and his tangerine colored hair flailing along with the wind. With the shopkeeper trailing behind, he had to step it up a notch by jumping up the nearest building. Then escaping on the rooftop, resulting in a successful escape.
Bent within a caliginous alley, mourning in sober as he scavenged every last breadcrumb. Slurping and licking his fingers, he grew hungry yet again, and had the urge to steal yet another quick meal. He had done this on numerous occasions, and had never been caught once. With that state of mind, Takaisō felt that he could never be apprehended and had the idea that he was truly invincible. Being gifted with such speed and balance, he went back onto the streets to pillage yet another easy meal.
Meandering through the streets yet again, Takaisō came across a succulent watermelon that had to be his. Large in size, enough to sustain him throughout the day. A quick move of wrist, had him taking the watermelon then gallivanting his way into the distance.
"?! Oi! Get back here you little weasel!!" bellowed the infuriated shopkeeper.
With the watermelon tucked under his armpit, he made a valiant escape, assured that he will escape yet again. As he paced himself through the street, Takaisō turned his head round for a mere second as to get a view of who was pursuing him. But that proved to be his downfall, as he collided into the hard abdominals of a man. Falling on his backside, his watermelon rolled away from him, and then began to rub his forehead easing the pain.
Takaisō felt himself being lifted, held clear into the air grasped by the back of his collar, he was face to face with the man he collided with. "Yare,yare... lousy brat, you shouldn't be stealing food."
"GAAAAH, LET ME GO YOU BASTARD-!! LEMME GO, LEMME GO, LEMME GOOOOO!!" fussing and scrapping his way to freedom, Takaisō performed the various fist throwing attempting to hit the man but just that bit out of reach.
"Hehe, you ain't gettin away with it that easy kid."
The shopkeeper, after much exercise through the street, caught up to the delinquent he was in pursuit of. Gasping for air, he looked towards the man who caught Takaisō and said in much gratitude, "Arigato gozaimasu! This kids been on a rampage for weeks. Bout time someone caught him."
He moved over to his watermelon and clapsed it in both hands, his possession had been returned. A scowl was plastered across his face, and looked towards the rambunctious kid who stole his merchandise, "Stupid squirt, you're really gonna get it now!"
"COME ON THEN-!! BRING IT RIGHT HERE, I AIN'T AFRAID OF YOU OLD GEEZER!!" Takaisō retaliated with a vociferous scream, bold and brave towards his situation yet handling it with little etiquette.
"Ah, no worries, I'll sort this kid out for ya. Your coming with me punk!" the man holding Takaisō captive smiled back at the shopkeeper.
"Oi-! I SAID PUT ME DOWN, OR I'LL REALLY MESS YOU UP!"
"Uh, sure. Teach him a lesson or two." said the shopkeeper, confident in the man's words. The man turned his body into the opposite direction, placing Takaisō on the floor but still a hold of his collar. He began to drag to young boy across the dusty terrain away from the scene. "See ya shopkeeper, I'll give him the right teachings."
"HEEY! DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME BEFORE? LET ME GOOOOOO--!!"
[CHAPTER THREE | Old Man Tsunayoshi] Seized by the mysterious man, Takaisō was taken to a rather spacious household within Iwagakure. fitted with the finest of wood and cement, making it a stable abode. Thrown through the door and into the house, Takaisō once again violently landed upon his backside, furious with the events that had just occurred.
"YOU STUPID MAN--!! I CAN GET YOU DONE FOR THIS, KIDNAPPIN' CHILDREN AND WHAT NOT!"
"Nyaah, calm down kid. Is that anyway to treat that guy who saved your hide from that shopkeeper?"
Takaisō's eyebrows arched, shocked to what he had just heard. He wasn't captured, but he was saved by this man. "...W...why?!"
"The way you moved though the streets like that, it seemed rather unique to me. Rather impressive, considering your age." the man was impressed with Takaisō's maneuver's previously. The young boy now began to feel full of himself, overwhelmed by what he just heard. Rubbing the space under his nose, he went on to say "Hehe, it was nothin! People in this village are just too slow."
"Huh, what's your name kid?"
"Kō Takaisō old man!"
"Oi! It's Tsunayoshi to you kid, didn't your parents ever teach you some manners?!"
"...No, they didn't" his reply was rather depressing and deep, still saddened by the horrible experience he had witnessed years ago. He lowered his and remained silent, thinking about his parents. Tsuna's intuition took place and assumed that Takaisō's parents had been killed. "Lost your parents eh?"
"Yeah, my Dad died in war, but my Mom is missing somewhere, I don't know where she is." replied Takaisō, still distraught from the experience.
"So, who looks after you?!"
"He, nobody does! I look after myself, nobody has the time for me so it'll have to stay that way! I don't need anybody."
"You sure about that kid, everybody needs somebody. Especially at your age, losing just about everyone close to you."
"Well, I'll make do. I'm tough you know!"
"Haha," chuckled Tsuna, amused by the kids comment. "Ever considered becoming a ninja Takaisō?"
"A ninja? Why would I wanna be that?"
"I dunno, you might be able to find out somethings. A lot of doors are opened once you become Jōnin level like I did once." Tsuna revealed that he had once been a shinobi, but retired from the job due personal reasons. He took a seat on a small chair nearby, crossing his legs over observing Takaisō and his charisma.
"...If I become a ninja, will I find out what happened to Okasan?!" yelled the young boy, slamming arms against the floor.
"Good chance, I don't guarantee it though."
"That's good enough for me, I'll become a ninja!"
A gentle smile curled across Tsuna's face, impressed by Takaisō's spirit. "He, you think you got what it takes? You got spunk kid, let's see if you can make the cut!"
"This kid just might be the one..."
[CHAPTER FOUR | Ascending through Iwagakure] After being taken under Tsunayoshi's wing, he took the liberty of training Takaisō to perfection. His practice was not an easy chore.
Beaten and battered, laid waste on the rocky floor, panted the rampant Takaisō retching for air. His hands were fidgeting across the floor, attempting to lift himself back onto his feet.
"Come on Takaisō, you gotta be faster, I won't let you enroll into the academy until you be more evasive."
"But, do I need to know all this stuff? It's so hard, do the other Academy Students do this?" asked Takaisō, concerned about this harsh training method. He was only eight years old, but was being trained like a dog in rain.
"The academy students wouldn't even attempt this, but your not the average student. I'm training you into something else!"
"...Something else?!" astonished by Tsuna's words, he could only help but continue with his arduous training method. "Now, come at me! As if you were trying to kill me-!!"
"Right, here I come!" ending his sentence with a full powered charge into Tsuna.
Days had passed, progress was slowly made throughout this time period. The stars had taken over the sky, the moon in its place gazing over Iwagakure. Incapacitated, was Takaisō, who had gone through days of extensive training with Tsuna. Although he was knockout, he had passed the test he had gave him. He was now most definitely ready for the academy, knowing and learning more than he needed. His training consisted on a test of wit, speed, balance, dexterity and evasive action. All being passed with flying colors, he was a shoe in to the ascent to Genin.
The three years in the academy were spent hard. The lessons spent in class were learned quickly, but once the day was over, he would resume training with Tsuna everyday perfecting his skills and attributes. This process was repeated throughout every living moment of Takaisō's life.
The time had come for graduation, successfully passing the test on becoming Genin. A proud and magnificent day, a step closer to his anticipated goal.
[CHAPTER FIVE| A path to follow] Sitting atop a large rock high in stature, peering into the distance as the sunset over the mountains, Takaisō sat with his thoughts. Approaching the rock was Tsuna, witnessing his pupil. He had grown up, twelve years old, no longer the miscreant stealing food and items that did not belong to him. He took the liberty of sitting next to his pupil, and firmly patted him on the back, "Oi! What's up? You should be happy, your a Genin now!"
"Oh, Tsuna sensei, yeah I'm happy and all. I'm getting closer now."
"Good job kiddo, I didn't think you could do it."
"WHAT? YOU LOUSY OLD MAN, SCREW YOU?" yelled Takaisō, agitated by Tsuna's response.
"Oioi, I was just kiddin. You had what it takes all along, you got guts."
"...liar." mumbled the young genin under his breath.
"So, what's your nindo?"
"Huh?"
"Come on, your a ninja now. You must have a nindo by now, ever since I started training you, you should have been able to think of one."
"Oh yeah." he took in another breath, still slightly overwhelmed with all that he has experienced. "I... I'm gonna change this crappy world. Get rid of all the evil. I'm sick of it! These wars, their pointless, endless. It makes me wanna retch!"
"Oh, that's rather ambitious, how you gonna do that then?"
"There only is one way, to become Tsuchikage...then surpass God!!" he ended his sentence by firmly clenching his fist in a form of assurance and confidence.
A light chuckle escaped Tsuna, amused by yet another comment made by Takaisō's overconfident mouth. "Seems a little extreme, you sure you can pull it off?!"
"Ofcourse! No-one can stop me!"
"Hm, well, good luck with that. You wont be needing me anymore."
"Wha? You're not gonna be teaching me anymore?"
"Nope, your a Genin now, and I'm no longer certified as a Jōnin. You'll have a new sensei and have a team to go with it."
"NO! Your the only one who can teach me! I won't let anyone else do it!" Takaisō, emotionally furious with Tsuna leaving him after many years together.
"Now, now. You expect to become Tsuchikage and your not willing to compromise." He got himself up onto his feet, brushing the dust of his clothing. Turning himself around and away from the scene, he made his exit calmly and collectively, hands in pockets.
"I'll see ya round kid, good luck with your future. Shine bright now!"
"Tsuna sensei..." muttered the young Genin, watching the one who catered for him for so many years wallow of into the distance.
[CHAPTER SIX| Unlock] Within his first year as a Genin, performing missions alongside his team was like clockwork. His new sensei was compassionate woman by the name of Kona, who adored Takaisō's adorable charms. His shinobi life was sometimes not taken seriously, goofing off and lazing about like a sloth. Often smacked around by his female counterpart, Miura, the other genin on his squad. Then Ukan, the male genin acquainted with Squad 3 from Iwagakure.
Months had passed, and a mission within Tsuchi no Kuni was in order. Takaisō proceeded on his own briefly, following orders. But so suddenly, an ambush from a group of bandits. For the time being, his only choice was to hold of the men. But being big headed, he decided to take them on with sheer might, having his moment in the limelight. He withdrew his kunai, ready for battle and confident to come out victorious.
"Come at me bastards!"
Amidst his battle a strange and new ability flourished from his body. Without question, his body exploded into coursing flow of lava. "wa...WHAAAAAA--!!"
Shocked, astonished, lava was flowing from his hands and chest, but had no effect. "I don't get this, what's going on!"
His sensei arrived in time, witnessed what had overcome Takaisō's body, "What...is that?"
The red hot lava seeped back into his body, free from harm, but stunned what had just happened. All the bandits were eliminated, and they returned back to the village.
After arriving at Iwagakure, Takaisō could only question the ability that awoke from his body. The boy knew very little about his clan, the Kō Ichizoku that he had been born into. He knew that was the answer to his queries lied there.
He began to gather knowledge, gathering strength, power and the ability to mold his chakra into this powerful Kekkei Genkai. He took the liberty of training with the knowledge he acquired by other Kō clan members, and advanced it as far as he could.
[CHAPTER SEVEN| The Chūnin Exams approach, a new weapon in the arsenal!] Fifteen years old, fifteen years wise. His years spent learning and perfecting martial arts and taijutsu, becoming one with his body. The time had come, where the Chūnin Exams would prove if Takaisō he was ready for the cut. If he was ready for the harsh path of the shinobi.
A few days before the exams, Tsuna felt the urge to see his old pupil once more, and they met up in the Iwagakure Training Grounds.
"Yo Takaisō! Long time no see, oh you've grown!" greeted Tsuna, high in spirits and jubilant as ever.
"Oh, now you wanna see me! I've gotten much stronger now, fight me now!" exclaimed Takaisō, exhilirated and ready for battle.
"Hey, hey, easy tiger. Some other time, right now I have something for you."
"?!" his left eyebrow arched, a gift maybe?
Concealed behind Tsuna, was a large, towering sword, sheathed with a black case patterned with a few red and yellow clouds. With ease, he tossed the blade large blade towards Takaisō hoping that he would catch.
The young Genin caught the sword, slightly heavy and awed at it's structure, "Sugoi-!! Your giving me this, for reals? I've never seen a blade like this!"
"Nifty huh? unsheathe it, have a look see."
He did so, and raised the large sword out of and past the scabbard. However, the contents of the package was not so fascinating, "...Your giving me this rusty piece of crap?!"
"Oi-! That's pretty harsh Takaisō, that sword is hard as ever. Don't let it's appearance fool ya. Try it out in the Exams, it may prove to be handy."
"This thing?! I'll be better off without it."
"Kukuku..." snickered Tsuna, the boys lack of respect was humorous. "Just try it kiddo."
"So, you gonna show me how to use this thing?"
"Nope, only you can do it. Plus, I aint your teacher anymore remember."
"...Oh yeah."
"Good luck kid, try not to slip up. Shine bright now!" with that said, he exited with a Shunshin, and disappeared without a trace.
[CHAPTER EIGHT| EXAM TIME!!] Konohagakure the host, the Chūnin Exams begun!
The first exam was underway, the written exam was a chore on Takaisō's mind, nearly throwing him over the edge of sanity. His teammates were lucky enough to pull him through with no worries.
Then came, the second exam proved to be excessive on the body. Stamina had to prevail when going through the Forest of Death. Endurance followed through battling through all the enemies as one team, blasting through the forest with sheer might and power. They proved to be victorious, Takaisō had successfully passed the second exam.
The last round came to shove, as Kō Takaisō was only one step away from becoming a Chūnin. A genin from Kumogakure was standing in his way. The battle enraged for hours, striking each other down, rising back up again. Takaisō was beginning to feel the pressure and toll on his body. Self-esteem was lowering, his ambition felt as if it were dying, "...How can I change the world...when I'm this weak?!"
As if all hope was lost, he was just about ready to give in. But there was one thing he had yet to try, the blade he had been gifted with. It was his last chance, and only hope of prevail. Holding the large hilt with a tight and clasping grip, he withdrew it from its case, pumping an immense amount of chakra. The results, were astounding.
His blade, the one that he looked down upon, exploded into a fury of flames. With one simple slice, his opponent was defeated and engulfed by flames. "And the winner is... Kō Takaisō!"
Ecstatic, with joy, he did it. He achieved that rank he desired and the acknowledgment he was so desperate for. No longer was he the devil some hoodlum meandering throughout Iwagakure, but a full-fledged middle ninja. Chūnin! "YEAAH! I ROCK!!"
[CHAPTER NINE| A humble homecoming] Back at home, now holding the title Chūnin, a visit to his old master was required. The venue, was an undisclosed location, dark at night with moon hanging in the sky.
"Ah, you came Takaisō."
"Yup, I wanna fight you again." he placed his hand upon the large red bandaged hilt of his blade.
"Oh, your gonna use the blade I gave you? Well, show me how much you've grown!"
A long and difficult battle for Takaisō, proven to be much stronger. The end of his battle, ripped through the battlefield with the potent flames of his blade. A few trickles of blood dripped down Tsuna's cheek, smiling and impressed with Takaisō 's performance. "Hehe, not bad kid." The flames of the radiant sun burned through the ambiance, streaking and engulfing their way past all obstacles.
A slow clap was produced by Tsuna's hands, congratulating Takaisō and his recent achievement. "So, what you plan to do now?!"
"Isn't it obvious? I'll find Okasan, become Tsuchigake... and surpass GOD!!"
[EPILOGUE] Standing at the highest point of Iwagakure, high up within the mountains, one with clouds. The sun blazing directly above. Awakened, reborn, as the Asahi Takaisō [The Morning Sun Takaisō].

INVENTORY [Ninyōgo - Ninja Tools] This is a rather useful package in Takaisō's favor, especially in battle. He makes sure to carries a surplus of kunai and shuriken, a few reels of ninja wire, soldier pills, fūma shuriken, smoke bombs, explosive notes and light bombs. They may be a few other necessities to complete this package.
[Kasairyūasahi - Volcanic Sun] A large blade standing at five foot eleven inches, sheathed within a black case patterned with yellow and orange clouds. The hilt is measured to about eleven inches, taped in a vibrant red cloth. Plus, three meters of strong and durable chain hanging from the end of the hilt. Hidden within this case is a blade paramount with potency, that can only be wield by the mightiest of ninja. Rumoured to be constructed from the Sun's core, this hefty blade holds dominant powers that rip through the shinobi world. It is sharp at the very point of the blade, and a crooked gap within the centre and streaked with red lines representing fire and lava.
The blade is incredibly sensitive to the Earth and Fire chakra Takaisō possesses. It has the ability to withstand enormous temperatures, meaning that it is resistant to the hottest of flames. Once fire chakra alone is focused to the blade, it emanates a torrent of flurrying flames and supplements with explosions. Streaks of fire are shot out of the blade that prove to be critical if hit. The intense heat is high enough to melt through most materials, such as rock and metal.
Once Takaisō channels both Fire and Earth chakra natures, the blade manifests into form lava. It is able to take the shape and form of lava, thus giving it severe burning capabilities, especially when made contact with the human body. Plus, it results with eruptive and pyroclastic explosions at the end of contact.
[Sekitanno - Ignition] A specialized pill constructed of different minerals and chemicals to suit its purpose. Once swallowed, the pill begins to stimulate blood flow at a far greater speed, thus increasing heart and blood flow. Doing so provides more oxygen and nutrients in the body, in turn augments speed and strength onto a greater level allowing Takaisō to travel at blurring speeds.
Takaisō has trained to manage the intense blood flow going through his body, making sure the blood pressure doesn't take a critical tolling on his body. This pill can only be used three times in one day, exceeding this amount results in death.
