Name: Adashay
Village: Sunagakure
Leader None (This is a family rather than a clan)
Abilities: The Adashay are a family of smiths almost as old as Sunagakure, itself. They have a special manner in which they forge their blades, building a framework of chakra strings on which the metal rests. The liquefied steel traps the chakra strands and to an extent preserves them once the metal cools and solidifies, allowing the Adasay to use their chosen Hijutsu, Hard Luck.
It is considered a rite of passage, once an Adashay is of Academy age, to pick a chosen blade (or blades) that they would like to be bonded to for life. An elder will mold the child's chakra into the frame of the weapon, and the blade will be forged, official training in the clan's abilities to begin.
The metal used by the Adashay is known as Stellite, which is an alloy composed of cobalt and Chromium. The metal is nonmagnetic and noncorrosive, moderately hard, tough and resistant to breakage. The blades have a light blue sheen to them and are highly reflective.
Jutsu: Hard Luck
Rank: B
Type: Hiden; Offensive and Defensive; All Ranges
Description: The metal with which the Adashay blades are forged possesses many special properties, smithed by and imbued with the chakra of one of the oldest clans in Sunagakure. One of the properties of this metal is that when it is charged with the chakra of its wielder, the wind given off by the rapid strokes become solid and to an extent tangible. Unlike that of Kaze no Yaiba, in which the wind cuts and slices like a blade, the aftereffects of a swing of an Adashay blade results more of a concentrated, concussive force, capable of ramming and shoving. Not only for use offensively, the sword may be swung defensively to, for example to form a concussive wall that acts against other weapons and projectiles to slow or even stop them completely, depending on the force applied.
