Basic Shisou Information
Born Shisou
Physical Features Those who are born Shisou have both silver hair and golden eyes, a genetic mutation caused by the Shisou Seals. All who are granted a seal, regardless of their own features, give birth to silver haired and golden eyed children.
Chakra Nature Primary affinity of Pure-Shisou parent
Inducted Shisou
Physical Features Nothing changes with the application of the Shisou Seal, however the Seal causes any future children to be born with silver hair and golden eyes, a side-effect of the powers it grants to the user.
Typical Description Most often inducted Shisou are those who have married into the clan, or earned the respect of the majority of the clan and desire to become a part of it. Upon becoming a Shisou, the inductees have the Shisou seal applied to their bodies. They typically originate as Konoha shinobi, and -- though rarely -- members of the other major clans of Konoha have sometimes joined, though any Kekkei Genkai does not pass once the Seal is applied.
Even more rare are those Inductees who originate from other villages. This has happened once in the history of the Shisou, though not since the days of Gen'ei's grandfather.
Typical Affinity
Most Shisou orient themselves around Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, very few having much patience with the illusory arts, and even fewer caring overmuch about them
Weaponry
Shisou use many and varied types of equipment, though they primarily train in bladed weapons such as katana or kunai. Shisou smiths are very skilled craftsmen and forge many weapons. The skill and artistry that goes into Shisou weapons make them desirable, but there is rarely anything extra special about them.

Seal Registry
Iryōnin Hijutsu
Ninpō: Shisou no Fūin 忍法: しそうの封印 [Ninja Art: Seal of the Shisou] The technique of the Shisou Clan, known to the Clan Head and to the Clan Iryōnin. This technique is used on new members of the clan, be they newborns or initiates taken in to the clan. This technique takes from the user's chakra and mental signature, searching through the developing or developed personality -- the younger the person the more accurate the technique -- and forms a unique seal on the person's body that, when activated with that person's chakra, causes a unique effect to occur. When used, the symbol for life [生] appears on the user's palm and is then touched to the target's forehead.
Clan Leader Hijutsu
Ninpō: Shisou no Fūin: Shō 忍法: しそうの封印: 消 [Ninja Art: Seal of the Shisou: Destroy] A technique of the Shisou Clan Leader. This technique allows the user to forcibly remove a Shisou no Fūin, causing bodily damage to the location of the seal and removing it's powers forever (Someone that has had a seal removed cannot gain another.) This technique is passed from Leader to Leader, and is not held on any scroll. This technique is used on any Shisou that has betrayed the clan. When used, the symbol for destruction [消] appears on the user's palm, and is then touched to the seal area.
Personal Fūin
Gen'ei no Fūin げんえいの封印 [Gen'ei's Seal] The Manji symbol on Gen'ei's right shoulder blade is the marker of his seal. Passively, the seal collects excess chakra that Gen'ei gives off when he performs techniques, as well as placing a minor drain on his stored chakra -- Minor enough to be unnoticeable. When activated, the seal shifts Gen'ei's personality and attributes to that of the 'Warlord', the embodiment of all of his violent emotions honed to a concentrated point. While in this form, not only does Gen'ei's outfit change, but his Nin and Genjutsu abilities greatly decrease while alternatively his Taijutsu skills become far greater. This form can only be held for an hour, or Gen'ei will run the risk of being suppressed completely by the Warlord.

Seal Information
Mechanics
The Ninpō: Shisou no Fūin is a unique Hijutsu in that, unlike all other types of Seals or Jutsu, relies solely on the target's body, mind, and habits to form itself. Invented by the original Shisou Founder, and passed down through the Iryōnin and Leaders of the Clan, this technique is applied directly to the victim's body and then forms itself.
Becoming one with the target's body, the seal draws upon their very essence to form itself, and as such is a reflection of the recipient's self. A perfect example of this is Gen'ei, whose controlled state of being is dissolved in his seal, revealing a mirror to his control in the wild yet powerful Warlord form of him.
For some reason, the Seal alters the genetic structure of the user -- Resulting in a permanent alteration of the body's reproductive abilities. Kekkei Genkai will not be passed on to the children of a seal bearer, and the children of such a shinobi will be born with silver hair and golden eyes, the trademark of the Shisou.
In general, there are no real side effects, however specific seals offer their own balance in danger for the power they grant.
Seals only react to the chakra of the user, which means that they can not be remotely activated, and none of them react to enemy chakra unless first activated.
Types
There are four types of Seals total:
Active -- A seal which must be activated with the use of chakra. Typically offensive, though they vary in essence, there are again three types of these seals; Offensive, Defensive, and Support.
Passive -- A seal which doesn't require activation, whose effect is always on and as such puts a constant, if light, drain on the owner's chakra reserves.
Dual -- A seal which is both passive and active. An example is Shisou Gen'ei's seal, which passively collects the user's chakra and then, once activated, transforms Gen'ei into the Warlord.
Evolutionary -- A special effect that seals of older shinobi have. After meeting specific physical and mental qualities, which are known only to the Clan Leader, a Shisou's seal may warp into a different shape, and gain a stronger effect than previously.
Weaknesses
