"Oooh hoho! Kumani Mushou? What are you wondering about that one for? A cup of sake will grant you a hear say, a bottle however will grant you a grand tale of never ending excitement! Or until my lips go dry from my lack of Sake.
...
Now that's more like it! Now where do we begin? I guess I hafta start where it all starts... meeting your peers! Oh shush it, of course it starts out boring!
Ingrate..."
Training Ground Thirteen.
"Lets see.... water techniques are...?"
Mushou was sat on a cut tree in the fashion of a training log, he was browsing a small book given to him by his father. It lined out details of using Suiton techniques which fit someone with a Suiton chakra nature. This was something he learned and was familiar with before he even became a Genin, though it was nothing he had mastered yet. Before he could really dive into his paint he had to get this Suiton down.
"Hnnn..."
He put the book away and hopped down from the log dusting off the sides of his hands on his pants, a sigh escaped his lips as his head tilted to the sky above him. Clouds passed by, clouds going by above him in the cloud village. Ironic scenery or some sort of narration to a story... weird. What would be the next step, some sort of introduction to a new character after the opening scene?

Tensho Toku: Lvl. 2: Kunai
Loading . . .
"Thank you, thank you, you're all too kind!"
There was some destined to be great, those who would rise above others to reach heights only brought to reality in the mind. Then, there were those like the young Genin bowing to a full-length mirror propped inside of a small convenience store, giving thanks to the imaginary audience praising her for her imaginary efforts. Why would such a scene unfold in this quiet day brought out in the village of Kumogakure?
To be frank, the young girl really didn't care less for why she was doing it, more like the attention she was getting from the store manager was earning her a few eyebrows and looks. A shrug was all the was given to her onlookers, followed by a high-and-mighty brush of the hair that followed her regal departure.
"Really, why do I have to get to the grounds so quickly anyways? Such a pain."
She held her hand up to her forehead, the young girl Toku couldn't help but moan at the thought of training or work to do on this day. Shopping was enough work for today, and why would she bother ruining her clothes for a new squad she didn't even know about? Well, at least it wasn't like she was going to be repeating what happened last time at the exams, this time was going to be different. It was a new start. A lackluster fist pump into the air and Toku strolled along the dusty road toward her destination, the training grounds.
"Am I at the right spot?"
The location was non too familiar to her memory, even though she had descriptive directions to the spot. Oh well. Maybe that dude over at the tree was her teammate? Or maybe a chicken. He did have the chocobo-like hair that Toku liked from one of the video games strategy guides she saw in the magazine rack a while back.
"Hey you, you with the hair."

Waaaark
Waiting, was that really what this day was about now? He rested his head against the stump post and let out a well needed yawn, bored and tired or tired and bored. Either way he needed something to occupy himself other then a book while continued to wait for... whatever was suppose to happened. He flipped open a jar of paint and began toying with the contents in the air, making small and simple shapes. They were an array of ninja tools which the theme slowly started to change up into items like a bag of chips or a bowl. He packed away the contents to try and keep his focus on the time at hand which the day was starting to grow and grow. Finally there was someone else here but the first response was not what he thought it would be...
"Whatcha go n stoppin my story for! I wa-
...what?
Yeah its a new little girly that's comin, his team mate and if ya didn't interrupt my you would have known that! So ju-
No! They're not gonna have sex damnt, what kind of story did you think this was? Two random kids meet up in the woods and start at it like rabbits? This aint your parents first meetin, now be a good little perverted punk and get me a new Sake bottle... I'm runnin low.
Aaaaaaah, good one lad."
"H-hair? What's wrong with my hair? Yours nearly touches the ground. Are you suppose to be around here? I'm meeting up with a new team."

Toku giggled at the young boy's apparently startled expression at her not-so-obvious comment. She couldn't help but stare at his hair, the spikes and the brown. Just like a well-roasted chocobo would look if there were ever one. She reached for her hair and petted it as if it were alive like a fashionable pet. To her, it really was, even if others couldn't understand the complex complexity of her relationship with her own hair. It was just something for her to understand and to keep others guessing.
"Lil T? Oh she's always long like that. I just love her. She's so fetch."
Toku couldn't help but give an overly enthusiastic flaunt of her hair, the long black threads seemingly flowing in the non-existent gust of wind. A little twirl and Toku winked at the imaginary crowd, before looking back at the grilled chocobo.
"I would think I'm supposed to be here. I got one of them team thingies saying I should meet my new squad over at um, this location or whatever."
She threw her arm back as if to vividly present the empty field behind her to the boy, even if he already saw it millions of times.
"Are we teammates then? I didn't think I'd have a chocobo for a teammate. Hmm, I guess I should hit up that new store down the street. You know that new PHUNK brand clothing is all the rage. No point in not looking fashionable and presentable for the sensei!~"

"Gaaah! I'm no Chocobo! Baka girl, why you just gonna be like that to someone you never met before?"
;[
He waved his arms in a helpless childish motion with his face running red from her comments on his hair. He was so cool with his hair, every main story hero had to have hair like this! That was right, if he made her see that she was just to be an extra or his side kick then maybe she would come to terms with his awesome style.
;o
"You don't know? The style! Its- the must have look for..." Strike a pose, spread the feet and push the palm out. Bring that confidence forward and make sure the chest is puffed out. Every hero puffs his chest out, so did Mushou. "The Main Hero!" The wind brushed by for a moment, the crowd was dead and there was no epic music to be heard.
._.
"Oh and yeah, I heard about PHUNK on TheSpace site. My clothes are still the rage! Red and Black, the perfect mix I mean cmon it's all ninja like too!" He again moved his hands in motion, as if making slices to the air. "They refer to me as The Gahaku! Though being teams I guess you might be told in my epic tale one day." The strange feeling of De Ja Vu came over him, not realizing he was in the tale already. "I am Kumani Mushou! Also I will not be surprised when you fall in love with me."

What was the main protagonist of the story doing at the moment? Laughing of course, laughing so much that her insides were hurting. That's right, she wasn't the girl love interest or the lanky sidekick; she was the main character! A female one at that. She clutched at her side, her stomach failing to hold itself together in her fit of chuckles. Not really chuckles really, more like obnoxiously loud laughter.
"Ahahahahaha!! O M G! I can't stop laughing--ahahaha!!"
If it weren't for her obvious tie to this boy as a teammate, she would've been all over him on the whole topic. Wiping her eyes, she regained her composure as she stumbled to get back into a standing position. She continued little giggles under her breath as she looked at the burnt chocobo. All at once, she gave a face that blatantly screamed, 'what the heck?'
"...What? What are you supposed to be? You playing those games a bit too much? Some Superman no doubt."
She hunched over and bent both her elbows to point on either side. Licking her lips, she shook her head and straightened up to pace back and forth in her spot. What was she to do, obviously this boy was in his own mind believing himself to be something he wasn't portraying very well. How was Toku going to remedy this situation? How indeed.
"Please, red and black was so two days ago. It's just the black itself, stark and shady. You have to be rockin' the PHUNK to be in the rage."
A multitude of snapping fingers and Toku twirled about again.
"Okay, just so you know. I am the main protagonist in this story. Me okay? This is Tensho Toku here. Get it memorized mmmk?"

His fists clenched as the redness on his face grew larger, his teeth were gritting against each other. The girl was just... mocking him and making him seem like a joke of this little story, the story that he was to be a part of. Was he gonna come out and slug her? Was he gonna go out and whip this chick with some paint? Nah, he was the son of the head of the Kumani Clan. Mushou was being raised to continue a proud legacy, he couldn't let some girl lose his cool. Sadly he was past that point but he was gonna be a bit better at hiding it then he was at ignoring it.
"Yeah whatever, I don't mind you thinking what you thinking or what you think you wanna have yourself thinking... think about that." He crossed his arms and turned his head sticking his nose to the air a bit. "I'm the heir to the Kumani Clan and I'm not gonna let some kid chick get the better of my attitude."
He turned back to her looking to her with a smirk on his face, he was showing his pride now and his good colors. "You check this style? Check it good ok, cause when I run this team we suppose to be on then you're gonna start respecting what I'm about." He stopped for a moment when she went on her own little rant about how she was runnin the story, which was more of a W.T.F moment then anything he could look at right now.
"So the girl who mocks the hero starts to toss claims of her own around, ya know what you can wait up and hold up. When this gets goin we will find out who is the main character and who is the side trip."
He stopped and mused around the area, there were they but there also needed to be two more. They were missing a third Genin and a Sensei to teach them the ways, he ran his hand through his hair clicking his teeth for a moment. "Ya know- we missing a few people right?"

A blunt roll of the eyes and Toku was bent over and staring down Mushou with enough arrogance to fill up an empty gas tank if it ran on water. Really now, what was she going to do with an arrogant kid like him? She had never come across someone who was so full of himself that it actually annoyed her. She merely scoffed and brushed her hair back arrogantly, standing straight up with her nose held high in the air.
"Of course, just try to like confuse the obviously not smart person among the pair. Oy, this is going to be such a long day, like I can't even explain. If you aren't getting the attitude, then don't point your head in that direction."
She moved her hands in slow and focused movements as if she were explaining something super serious to the boy. Shaking her head, Toku looked into her sling bag and shifted her hand inside around in search for something really, really important. What was she looking for while this burnt chocobo was ranting on about his supposed clan heir thingie? She didn't know, but at least it was keeping her company.
"Well--You--Style is just--hang on."
Throwing her sling bag onto the ground, she threw her arm in and shuffled around a bit more, coming up with a small silver-tinted device that looked remarkably similar to a modern-day cellular phone. One thumb was stuck on the center button while the other fingers went to work on the others.
"Style, is something that, well I can't really put it into words. No, I mean, yeah. You really think you have a style huh? I mean, yeah, if you want respect, don't try so hard to prove you have style."
A sharp grunt and Toku closed the device on her hip, turning to her chocobo friend. With her cell service down for the moment, she really didn't feel like dealing with the rantings of her teammate, if he was really her teammate.
"Yeah, whatever, main character side character. They're all like so confusing. Like oh em gee."
And then it hit her; they were all alone. Without a sensei or a team, well full team anyways. Where the heck was their team at? She fidgeted with her cell and started tapping her foot. She was patient. Totally. The most patient person on the planet. A click on the small device, and Toku brought it up to her ear, before jerking her arm down to stare at the cell.
"Ugh, no service. What kind of training field is this without any service? This is like so not cool."
No service makes Toku go....um.
"This is seriously irking me."

"Aaah? You say some confusing things Toku. Why do you gotta make something sound sooo strange."
;[
Mushou had style and style to spare, he was an artist and style was runnin through his blood and his brush. He reached into his pack and tossed an object to the air. "Toku, gotta learn that when you know art... you know style." The brush came down as Mushou extended his arm outward catching it in his hand. He gave the small brush a quick twirl before aiming it outward to Toku, that arrogance on his face left him and his look spoke of seriousness and a sort of determination.
"Art- is more then just a hobby... its life."
He gave a sagely type nod before placing the brush back into his pack, he left it off at a silent moment giving the cool un caring impression as if his words only mattered to him and other opinions were void. "We can play the game, yeah. You be your main and I'll be my main, whoever writes the tale can express their own thoughts." Yeah that's where it was, compromise and that feeling where either tension was lifting or more was waiting to be created.
"I just gotta say, don't fall behind this game. You may still finger paint while I'm up past the canvas, history is in the making here and it aint waiting around for us."
He sighed but not before slipping his hands into his pockets kicking at the ground, where the hell was Sensei and where the hell was this third kid. Bad enough he had to get stuck with such a noob, now he was waiting on another noob to show up.
"Bored..."

"Strange? Little Chocobo, you have no--no idea."
A random bird seemed to randomly appear and randomly land on the young girl's head, randomly gaining a random expression from it's post. Toku gave a blank expression as he started on his sage-like rant. If there was something Toku learned in the academy, it was that long speeches were most of the time boring to listen to, this time no different.
Tapping fingers on her chin, she kept her cell close to her side, trying to focus more on the team that was apparently invisible or something. Why didn't her RPer give her invisibility powers? That would've been made of so much awesomesauce. So much that she would need three spoons and four stomachs to down it. Why weren't there any applesauce at DiDi's anyways?
"Art? Like art is something I know, I just don't do much with it."
He was ranting on art? Should she be paying attention to what he was saying? Okay, okay, let's listen...now! We can play the, what the heck is he talking about? Toku mentally slapped her brain, earning a rub on the cheek for her effort. At least, he stuck to his guns. Main, wait main? Toku scratched her head and retreated to her cell, staring at it's humming white screen. A sigh, if only the cell could talk back to her. Toku, get back to listening.
"At least, that rhymed. But, finger painting is so fun, like so fun. It's addicting really."
Tucking her tech into her pocket, Toku stretched upward, letting strains of raven fall around her in a silky blanket. She'd rather not spend much of her time here at the training site; she had a routine to keep up. She took another look at the chocobo before turning back around towards the village.
"If they aren't going to show up, I'm leaving. I have things to do."

"I'm here, I'm here!"
The yellow-haired youth scrambled up to the training grounds, panting slightly after running straight from his house in the outskirts of the village. Smiling, the boy raised his hand to his hair and ran it through the spikes once before waving dumbfoundedly, not really knowing what to do. One of the Academy Instructors had left a letter that he hadn't gotten until this morning, when his mother woke him up. He was placed on a team!
"Hihi, I'm Gosaikun Aoshite. And y'all are...?"
Smirking, the boy glanced first at the only other boy. They were about the same height, although this boy had crimson hair and eyes. Red vest, dark T-shirt. Nothing special really, he looked familiar. Then, the girl, who's name he remembered to be Toku, from the Academy. She was hoooooot! Shorter than him and the other boy, sharp blue eyes, and long black hair. This would be interesting. It seemed that there was someone with crimson hair, black hair, and yellow hair. As a boy who treasured his hair, Aoshite thought he could tell a lot about someone by their hair.

The jangling of a nearby gate --
A figure wrapped within cloth that was as dark as night that offset the day around him lunged over the barricade --
His hair waved weakly as the air combed through it --
His heels dug into the grass underneath him, his body in a relaxed crouch. The mysterious figure that suddenly appeared began to stand, revealing a charming fool's smile, his calm eyes looking at the three, examining them. They matched their profiles, for the most part, except that the girl's file didn't have a picture, which was weird, but it was most likely a oversight. His messy black hair bounced as he trudged forth over the training grounds, not wasting time on introducing himself.
"Party's over, kiddies. My name's Urarau Kobi. I'll be your sensei for the remainder of...well...your nublihood." The Jōnin chuckled softly into his sighing breath, he scratched at his temple with his index finger, his eyes fixated on the girl. She reminded him of someone he once knew, someone from a long time ago, a bird that was long lost.
"Ara...uuuhh...stand in a straight line and let me get a good look'a'cha' all." Kobi commanded, motioning them to stand in a line, side by side, chopping his hands three times. "After we all get acquainted, we'll begin our first official mission as a squad, how's that sound?"

Mushou was about to call out to Toku to stop her from leaving, he didn't wanna have to go and snag her back when the other two arrived. It was an annoying day, he was stuck here with this... chick and still waiting on the rest of the team. Then his attention was struck by the new arrival, some kid who kinda looked like... someone he knew but it could have just been the hair. He pointed out to the kid and just kind of stammered for a moment.
"Y-your hair is....
you're a porcupine."
He held back his laughter over the situation, his hair was way overly spiked up. Such was not fitting of a main character, it was clear that this was either the extra or that one dude who tries to be the main character.
"I'm Kumani Mu-" He was stammering on words trying to hold back his laughter, he'd never seen someone's head look like that before. He knew his own hair had some spikes here and there but it was like you could pierce stone on this kids head. He cleared his throat and took a breath trying to fight the laughter. "Kumani Mushou."
Moments after that the final addition to the team was arriving, to top it all off it was the sensei. He studied him for a moment and already found something that annoyed him a bit. He mused over it before he figured out how to put it.
"Kobi-Sensei...."
He moved to the front starting the line, he would try to take the natural role of leader since it didn't seem like anyone else was up for such a task. "Kobi-sensei, I gotta say.... your eyes make you look like a chick."

Great timing yarly Why is it that when she ever leaves any sort of thread, the other people seem to appear? It was like, so weird in a cosmic psychedelic sort of way. Or maybe that was the tuna salad she had for lunch today. Slowly, she turned about to face her newest teammate, the third and final addition to what she guesses will be their cell roster for the year. Or however long they'll stick together before they completely bite each others' heads off.
What was to say about her new teammate? Other than the fact that it was strangely odd that she sort of knew him form somewhere before, he seemed to be a really unique character from the usual bunch. What really amazed her was how he was able to keep his hair to stick up like that, and so finely to a point. She really had the urge to just shout out and ask, how much hairspray did he use? But of course, her pal Mushou had to come out and say the comparison first.
"Look who's talking. You should be grateful to have a teammate like him. Besides, it's not like a porcupine, more like a cute little chocobo is you ask me. Not a deep fried one like I know."
Toku swiveled around and walked back towards the two of them, deciding to put off leaving for the moment. She rolled her eyes at the Kumani before looking at Aoshite and giving a soft smile. Really now, he seemed like a really nice kid, especially when he was put next to Mushou. Please. Should the comparison even be that easy for someone like Toku? Guess it was the blond that was so appealing to her, or as it the style?
"I, I'm Toku. Tensho Toku."
Toku yawned and felt like this day was going to be longer than it was supposed to be. That was when the leaf on the ground caught her eye, the shiny red and all it's shininess. So pwetty. Knees bent so that she sat hunched over the leaf, she started to play with it, giggling every few seconds at the amusement that came with her new toy. Course, that was before her sensei came into the game. There was something she hadn't seen before. Or did she? Yeah, maybe in one of those fashion magazines that had male models in them. Maybe it was the hair. Yeah that was it.
"Oh my gosh I love your hair! So black and shiny. Fetch!"
She had the urge to just run her fingers through it, it was so fun to look at. It was like, just so shiny. Like maybe even shinier than her's was. She studied him further, putting way more effort into actually studying someone than she usually does. A line was asked of the three of them, and it was obvious that Mushou wanted to seem like the bigger person. Please. She moved to stand adjacent to Mushou, right beside him so that they were standing shoulder to shoulder. You know what people say, people in the center always stand out above the others. A wicked smile she gave her artists friend, a sign that she was not going to be backing down one bit.
"Don't talk to Kobi-sensei like that. I think he looks very great if you ask me."

Fag.
That's the only word that came to mind. Maroon hair? Like, seriously, wtf? Like someone with brown hair trying to be a firecrotch, but not succeeding. Hah! Smiling at the porcupine jokes, Aoshite reminisced in the old Academy Days, back when that was actually funny and had a chance of effecting him. Now he was twelve; too old to feed into such taunts. Shrugging it off, the blonde-haired boy turned to Toku and smiled; one of those smiles that was kinda bad-boyish, yet entrancing. Ohyea man, the flirt smile.
"Nice to meetchyea both. And, Toku, I have to say I like your outfit! It's so rad!"
Smiling, the boy adjusted his own clothes; a yellow PHUNK-brand T overtop of a black long-sleeved shirt, with black cargo pants from Neenjah, a favourite store of his that had the latest in chic shinobi apparrel. Just as Kobi, their sensei, appeared, Aoshite nodded and litterally jumped from where he was to Toku's side, so he had the beautiful girl between him and Mushō. Whispering to Toku, he said:
"I wonder if he uses the same gel as me ..."
