1) What the staff states (as a unit) is law, I will allow an educated debate, but it will not stand if during this debate, that a party calls someone out of their name. If I witness that the dispute is going in no direction, I will put an end to it if I see need to.
2) Don't be a prick, don't just approach someone and openly insult them just because you have a superiority complex. To not ramble, Rule Two will be known as the no flaming Law. There will be no flaming unless it's needed, and only by Staff members. At that, Staff Members will only do it when someone repeatedly attempts to continuously try the same concept that was denied time and time again or repeatedly says they did something (such as read the rules) and know that they didn't.
3) No applying as Canon Characters, since the site will closely follow with the Manga, Canon Characters will not be available.
4) We will stick as close as the laws of Naruto as possible, this means that things that I, or someone else on staff finds impossible to do with chakra, the Jutsu will not be approved, and if it is, it will be fixed or stripped from the respective character.
5) There will be no standing for meta-gaming and godmodding. If I find you godmodding or meta-gaming, you will be ruled against and possibly have your character killed off on the Staff's whim.
6) The world of Naruto is based on feudal Japan. Such names as; "Zoom," "Siegfriend," "Darwin," "Dark," and "Tim" will not be allowed, and your profile will be denied. The same applies for everything that has a name, there will be no Middle-Earth names such as "Godfried," "Wurldoo" or any of that other crap that I see on other forums. It's simply ridiculous. This is an series based on Japan, thus, everything will be centered on that. This goes on to weapons, there will be no broadswords because broadswords are a European weapon and don't exist in Naruto, or rather, they're very rare (the closest thing to a Broadsword is a Tsurugi, which is a very rare sword, and the only Tsurugi seen in Naruto is Orochimaru's Kusanagi)
This Rule will be enforced greatly, if you are having trouble coming up with Japanese names, refer to a Japanese name site or read through Japanese folklore.
7) There will be no relation to dead characters or exploitation of Kekkei Genkai of dead characters.
8) Most Jutsu will be considered personal Jutsu of their respective users unless two unrelated people are seen using a certain Jutsu. This applies for Kekkei Genkai also.
9) This Forum follows the Manga and not the Anime, thus, filler are not canon here, either. If you wish to re-establish something that's filler on the Forum then please run it by me first. There are some things that I won't allow, but at the same time, there are some enjoyable things that come out of fillers.
10) This Forum is to depict Naruto to best of it's abilities, Naruto is a Shonen Manga. Shonen means Boy, meaning that it's aimed for young adults. Mature situations like sexual intercourse and the like are NOT permitted on the regular board, due to Proboard's TOS, but will be permitted in IM. All non intercourse, adult situations will be regulated.
11) Due to Raseden's dependency on progressing storylines, the Skip Rule, as this shall be called is enacted to protect the storyline's right to progress. Any member who slows a storyline, or any thread for that matter for more than a week is liable to be skipped by the next person in the posting order. After a week's time, the member will be warned and granted an extra day to post. Should they not post within that extra day (if not in the whole week they are normally afforded), they will be skipped by the next person in the order. Of course, if you exceed a week, and the next person in the order hasn't posted, you can take the liberty to do so. Should a valid reason for inability to post be presented to staff and/or the thread participants an Extension to Possibility (EP) will be granted.
Should a member be skipped without EP three times, they shall be removed and suspended from storyline participation for a minimum of two days to a week, depending on the people involved in the thread (the other participants of the thread will dictate the length of suspension based on the offender's importance to the thread).
