General Information File
Name: Sasaki Makoto
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Country: Fire
Hidden Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Date of Birth: February 6th
Occupation: Makoto works as a waitress at Joujou, a restaurant located in the western districts of Konoha.
Pets: Makoto has a pair of hermit crabs, Ryuu and Ran. They live in a small aquarium with their painted glittery sequined shells. She likes to cuddle them.
Relatives:
Uncle 1 (Kenji): One of her adoptive parents. Kenji is a blood relative, and has raised Makoto in her mother's place, being more like a father to Makoto than an Uncle. He is the oldest of his siblings. Kenji is gay, and happily coupled with Tsubasa, whom he's known since before Makoto's birth. Kenji grew up in the theatre, constantly given roles alongside his mother, who inspired him to become an actor. He is extremely thrilled by Makoto and supports her as well as any father would. He often encourages her to be proud of herself (as though she needed encouragement...) and loves giving her the costumes left over from performances.
Uncle 2 (Tsubasa): Her other adoptive parent. Tsubasa is just as close to Makoto as Kenji is. He loves to take her places, often treating her to good restaurants and surprise trips to visit Midori and the rest of the family. Tsubasa works as an architect for developing areas of konoha.
Mother (Chiyoko): Chiyoko had Makoto at a very young age and therefore could not take proper care of her. After growing old enough to live on her own, Chiyoko moved to Otafuku Gai to open an inn. Feeling resentful towards her family, Chiyoko rarely visits, only traveling to konoha for family reuinions and Makoto's birthday. She has a son of her own now, though still has no husband. Her son's name is Hideki. Chiyoko does not feel very close to Makoto, but the two are on good terms.
Grandfather (Arata): Arata is the proud father of Chiyoko, Kenji, and Midori. He was a musician in his younger years but became a playwright after realizing music wasn't something he wanted to do as a career. His plays were not overly successful at first, but it was through them that he met his wife, Chikako. She was an actress who played a role in many of his plays and the two fell very much in love. Together, they had their three children and raised them closely to the theatre, hoping to instill in them a respect for art. Kenji became an actor and Midori showed a passion for sculpting. They felt Chiyoko was a bit of an outsider in their family, but loved her equally, even if they didn't understand her well. After Makoto's birth however, Arata found it hard to respect Chiyoko, and he showed an obvious preference towards his other two children. He helped Kenji raise Makoto until his wifes death. He now lives alone, playing music in solitude. Midori and Kenji share in supporting him financially. He adores Makoto, and loves to tell her stories and dote upon her whenever she visits.
Aunt (Midori): Midori is an excellent gardener, sculptor, and storyteller. A peaceful vegetarian with many piercings and a headful of blond dreadlocks. She is a wonderful aunt to Makoto, though she's never been outwardly supportive of Makoto's obvious need to be a pink prissy princess. She teases her affectionately however, and the two enjoy each other's company. She has two younger children (fraternal twins, age 6) who are planning to attend the ninja academy, and is married to a ninja of chunin ranking named Hiroshi. Midori is the first of the family (ever) to marry a shinobi or raise her children as ninjas. Hiroshi is teased by the entire family, though he's never treated with disrespect; he's become a well-loved member over the years. He doesn't pay much attention to Makoto, though he likes to buy jewelry for her on her birthdays. He also lets her know that Midori cares for her quite a lot. Their children's names are Jirou and Cho. (boy and girl) Makoto adores them.
Background:
Memoirs of a Princess
Makoto was born in Konoha to Chiyoko, who months before planned to give her to her brother Kenji and his boyfriend Tsubasa rather than put her up for adoption. Chiyoko was very young, and expressed only the slightest of interest in Makoto's life, but this never affected Makoto negatively; Kenji and Tsubasa provided for her as good as any parents would. Some may even argue that they spoiled her.
Makoto was always a princess. She was mesmerized by things that sparkled, shimmered, and shined. Kenji would take her clothes shopping and she'd point and gaze and clap her hands at the frilliest, glitziest, pinkest... things in the store. She was wearing heels by the age of three and her uncles would watch in amazement as she scuttled through the house, donning a large feather boa, clunky pink platforms, and a tiara. Her fascination with dressing up didn't stop there, though... One day Kenji rushed into the living room after hearing a crash and found a broken lamp with little Makoto sitting beside it shamelessly, the shade over her head.
As she got older her creativity only seemed to blossom. Pasta whigs, table cloth dresses, and berry juice eye shadow. She was a dancing diva of disaster. Anything she could touch broke, and quickly joined her endless pile of useless accessories, gowns, and accents.

School's a drag. School's a bore. School's a gas chamber... Death first! Kill us quick! Deliver us from the agony... the torture... the anguish!
Not So!
Quite the contrary!... sit down my friend and watch... behold! Any minute now.... Just watch as she bursts in, just watch in AWE...in ASTONISHMENT as the lovely, the dazzling, the sensational Sasaki Makoto enters. Do you see her shine? Do you see her glow? The radiance! The wonder! DO YOU SEE?!
School's a party! School's a feast, a parade, a show! And Makoto's the star! She's the one in the front, twirling the baton, waving splendidly. Follow her! She needs her prince! Where are her friends?! Where are you?! You're all invited! Join in the spectacle, join the celebration! Come quick! Come now!
...If only... If only it were true!
Poor Makoto expected her party, expected her fans and piles of friends but OH!
Jealousy...
Jealous people break you down.
...They rip.
.............They shred.
........................They destroy.
All the other girls... the ones in their plain black skirts, their quiet little polo shirts, with their ugly gray lunch boxes. The saddle shoes... the stockings with rips in the knees. They all saw Makoto, and stared at her like a drooling pack of hyenas. There was their prey! There was the girl that everyone loved to hate! The one that had it all. They all glared and whispered to one another behind their hands. Dirty little rats... ugly little beasts!
And Makoto! ... Dear sweet unsuspecting Makoto... Bless her little plush heart. Sit back and watch this scene unfold... watch it sprew and crack and sputter. Watch... as her life (delicate as a crystal) crash before your very eyes! READY?

Mental Evaluation File
Mental Analysis:
Timid.... Serene... Silent...
NOT!
Everything about Makoto is over-the-top, excessive, drastic, extreme, radical, dramatic, extravagant, exuberant, profuse, ostentatious, elaborate, overambitious, and deliciously fabulous. She wants to be the shining star, she wants to be loved, she wants to be famous! She exaggerates every feeling, story, and costume, she douses each rant, speech, monologue, and tirade in heaps of steaming, sticky, sweet drama, and still has MORE, MORE, MORE left over. Get her drunk, and you'll watch an entire lifetime of sorrow, ecstasy, anger, regret, jubilation, and depression spew from her in a single great crescendo lasting at most a half an hour before she passes out wherever she's standing in absolute fatigue. If she feels any fraction of emotion, the whole world has to know all about it. And that's exactly how she likes it.
Possessing not a single shy bone in her body, she invites herself to parties, barges into conversations, and spouts a barrage of opinions, compliments, and stories every chance she gets. She's often loud and energetic, demanding attention, but also naturally trusting of people and easily fooled into thinking that she wont be harmed or pushed away, and often gets herself into trouble by trusting in the wrong type of people or assuming that no one could intend to hurt her. Despite this she tends to be a people watcher and can be extremely perceptive of others' feelings, even if she's not sensitive to them, picking up on many characteristics very quickly, (especially in relationships between people) such as personal motives, negative emotions, hidden messages, jealousy, admiration, and competition. For awhile she's kept a journal that she writes in regularly, and she loves taking notes on her observations in others. She's never shown it to anyone, though.
Makoto frequently speaks her mind. She loves pointing out the small details she notices in other people... “hey that person walks silly”... “Do you see that mole?!”... “oh goodness.... that hair looks like a pile of dead birds!” Sometimes its amusing... sometimes it's not good...not good at all. From this people often view Makoto as judgmental but this is true only on a very superficial level. She rarely means harm, and feels guilty if her comments hurt others. She feels like people should be able to laugh at themselves and others, and easily forgets that her opinions are not always welcome.
Though she can be outrageous and even a little annoying, Makoto is very kind at heart. She can be very giving and supportive, loves giving gifts and compliments, and likes to build people up. She loves sharing clothes. She collects friends; people to dress up with, gossip with, get drunk with... but she values true friendship most. After her energy and smiles are spent, Makoto tends to become another person. She grows more self conscious and sensitive, quiet, and almost philosophical. It is at these times that she watches her true friends emerge... the people she falls in love with. She could talk from nightfall to morning about she and her companion's feelings, dreams, mistakes, and triumphs. Only a small few see this other side of Makoto, and those that have will never be forgotten or let down by her.
Her favorite animals are giraffes and octopuses, and she hopes to one day become a writer.
Physical Evaluation File
File Photo:
Height: 5'4”
Weight: 123 lbs
Eyes: Red-Brown, oval shaped
Hair: Black curly hair cut into a bob style. Sometimes she pulls it back with bobby pins.
Distinguishing Features: Makoto has a small heart shaped face and a broad forehead, which she hopes to downplay by keeping her hair short and decorating with wisps of curly bangs. Her hair appears much thicker in the back, but this is because of the layers of curls lifting it up. Despite the amount and volume of her hair, it is really quite thin and delicate but no one would know it by looking at her. It breaks easily, which can sometimes add a frizzier nature to it. She has groomed eye brows and a flat and wide but small nose. Her eyes are far apart and deep, giving her a young, yet knowing look about her. These can be a bit misleading at times as her loud behavior and gullible nature very much contradicts the mysterious look her eyes create. Her lips are very pale, so she usually adds a small amount of lipstick to them because she thinks she looks dead without it. If she's feeling in a good mood, she also likes to add blush and a bit of dark blue eye shadow. When it comes to dressing up however... there's no telling what she'll paint her face with...
Attire: Makoto loves to dress up.
As a waitress, Makoto wears either a black kimono with blue flowers or a black robe with red trim. Outside of her work however, She goes wild. From the Prima Donna to the pauper to the little mermaid to the glittery pink dragon, Makoto's been everything. She loves creating new characters and dressing up in extravagant and embellished costumes whether she's with friends or not. It's her hobby, her passion, and one of her biggest joys. One of her favorite things to do is throw costume parties, whether there's a reason for it or not.
From the moment her uncles took her in till the present, she's been hoarding clothes... enough clothes to dress an army... a very fabulous army. From the gaudy to the bland, Makoto has it all. Dresses, kimonos, skirts, vests, tops, leggings, sweaters, robes, jackets, capris, pants, belts, scarves, hats, boots, heals, stockings, socks, slips, leg warmers, shorts, sandals, bags, feathers, bows, tassels, ribbons, fur, zippers, buttons, gloves, clasps, pockets, pouches, rings, jewels, gems, sequins, tiaras, masks, trim, lace, satin, silk, cotton, GLITTER, GLAMOR, and GLITZ!
