Background:
Born in the land of lightning in the hidden cloud village, he was named after the great his father, Sojirou Izuna, though his name was Horaijin Izuna. Always a very strange boy who seemed to lack the motivation to do most anything. He was a very relaxed boy and it showed, he was frequently seen sitting under trees catching shade or sleeping around the house. His parents where both shinobi of the hidden cloud, his father was a member of the Oinin, and his mother was a member of the medical squad, both at the level of a low Jōnin or high Chūnin. They were not anything special, though Izuna had a natural ability in the field of combat. His father saw this when the boy would play ninja, or just in his academy grades and such.
Izuna constantly struggled in academics though when it came to combat training he excelled higher than most of his classmates. He made many points in this, his first point was the purpose of mathematics, though it served for more tactical ninjas, though he was one as well, it was rather pointless. You either have the ability to throw a kunai in the direction you need to throw it, or you just don't, you did not need to create and solve a complex equation in the heat of battle, it was unnescessary. Though his academics in mathematics and such lacked, he made up for it and was able to pass the academy exams at the age of twelve. He was very skilled in combat and was to become a genin, under the lead of his father who was now an elite level Jōnin.
At the age of eleven years old the boy known as Izuna would become a genin, he would also be a successful one. Though he found the missions rather tedious, he did not find them worthy for him to even accomplish. Though he had to due to the fact that his own father was his Jônin instructor. If there was anyone to go harder on Izuna it would be his own father, he wanted to see this boys drive to succeed over throw his lack of sleep, though it would not seem this boy would take likely to the constant D-Rank missions. They bored Izuna, the only thing that got his spirits up were sparring or combat training, his group was sorted out by the best combatants and chakra control utilizes. Seeing as they were the top three in their class they would be in the same group. He was of course the second best in his group next to a strange and talented young man named Shun. He was oddly skilled though Izuna did his best to keep up with him. He did his best to equal the boy, they were both destined for great things though in the future it would be a distant partnership, good friends though rarely ever spoke. At this point Izuna main focus was on his training for the Chûnin exams approaching.
He was training vigorously for the event and learning all of the raiton jutsu he could possibly learn, and even a couple above his level. He was doing well and during his time training for the exams he had learned the reason they had taught the students calculations, the written exams of the Chûnin exams, though he remained calm as usual. He did not fear the written exams, he believed he was skilled enough to get through the exams and enter the arena with the other shinobi, and finally become a Chûnin. He continued his combat training and his father took the other two to train with them, leaving him in the care of someone with the same affinity as his son, which he did not carry. The man who had the same affinity was the mother of himself. A very commanding presence, he knew this boy was to be the pride of the village and taught him many of his jutsu. She also shared the secret of raiton mastery. He was able to use this element with great skill and was doing well in his training. This would be an outstanding feat for the boy to accomplish though it would take the three months he had before the exams, and the three months in between the tournament.
Six months would pass and his time would come to prove himself to his father, and to the rest of his country. His training was successful and he was ready to prove he was strong enough to do battle with the other genin across the nation. He passed the first two exams with great ease, proving his clever abilities to gain information, and his abilities to lead a team though, he felt as if he was only leading himself and the other team member Shûn seemed to handle himself better than anyone else, and as they fought other groups, it seemed all on his own he had retrieved the second scroll. This boy was stranger than before, though Izuna did not let it bother him, they were friends though it did not show, they were great allies. They succeeded, they were the only full team in the whole exam in which all three of the candidates had graduated, all Chûnin they were separated, the all took different roles, Izuna would act as a Chûnin and take a role of leadership.
He was now the age of fourteen and he was considered the level of a chûnin, which was a fitting role for him seeing as he was a born leader. His father was now a retiree in the village of the cloud, and he was to carry the families name as a shinobi, meanwhile his mother retired as well and opened a shop in the central district of Kumo. His parents seemed to be living a happy life, meanwhile his was riddled with boredom. To be a military leader and there be no battles to take part in, which riddled his time with paper work and escort missions. He knew he had to go back to the basics, he had to train in his second elemental kinship, which appeared to be doton. He did an ancient method of training which was gradually cutting objects with his chakra, until he could cut larger and larger objects. He was going to train in this and meanwhile complete missions in order to give the village and himself a name, it was now his family go their wish, they saw ambition in the boy. His father was gained great pride in saying this boy was his son, the father of a chûnin. Izuna was excelling faster than all of the other shinobi in the village though he would hear rumors of his old teammate Shûn.
He made sure he was to be recognized as well as his former teammate Shun, who had seemed to be making a name for himself. Though his accomplishments would not be as personal as Izunas. Izuna wanted to become a shinobi of great power and a good way to do that was by mastering his element kinship and meanwhile gaining affinities. He was going to become a master of ninjutsu and also dabbled in an ancient art known as kenjutsu, he was to be as skilled of a swordsman as he was a ninja, and he started by picking up a weapon known as the nodachi, a rather lengthy katana. Kenjutsu was a dangerous and yet beautiful art used by ancient warriors known as the samurai. Very few used this art due to the technological advances, this intrigued Izuna quite a bit which urged him to study and develop in the art, meanwhile training to expand his chakra affinities. He would go into seclusion and with the current Raikage's permission left the village to further his training, he was to go on a journey in where he would hopefully come back the level of a Jônin, and prove his ambitions though subtle in nature where strong.Mental Evaluation File
Mental Analysis:
A very strange kid Izuna has always been. He is rather well known in keeping his inner thoughts and feelings to himself. Though on the outside he is very outspoken and a bit of a mean person. Though he uses this to mask most of his true feelings. He can be a very nervous man at times, he tends to get up and walk around when their is no reason in doing so. He is very outgoing and will take traveling missions in a heartbeat if it means leaving the village, even only for a short while. He doesn't enjoy the feeling of isolation nor does he enjoy sitting around doing much of nothing. He see's no purpose in sitting around while the world around him is changing ever so constantly.
Normally he has trouble with authority although now he really cares less towards following orders, seeing as his leaders now are much more powerful than he is. He remains pretty dormant in the fact that he is a mere member rather than a leading figure, it really does not bother him. He tends to question the leaders actions but in a calm cool and collected manner. Now being older he prefers to listen what people have to say than hastily attacking in a blind range, even to the point offering words of absolution towards or from his opponent, which goes back to his respect in battle.
He really does not see the point in isolating ones self and not making friends with those around him. He is very social towards his fellow shinobi and does not isolate themselves as did many, he believes that they should make an attempt to get know each other due to the fact that they are a part of a cell, a unit, so instead of lopping each others heads off and such they would rather coordinate well with one another defeating their enemies with great ease.
In battle he is very analytical , and is also known fro being very calm. He tends to find a good state of equilibrium not losing his mind to the point of losing all sight of whats important to the battle, although he stays determined enough to win. He watches closely to the changes in the environment so he can use it to his advantage such as he is in constant danger. He is also very respectful to his opponents, not very rude and when he does mock them it is a more calm sustained and less forward manner. He has a belief system based upon the arts of Bushido which is respecting your opponent rather then mocking them which shows the bitter side of battle, when in truth battle is a coordinated dance of beauty.Physical Evaluation File
