Background:Born to Yatsu, Daisuke and Dai, she was to be another prodigy child of her family, or well a prodigy of the women. They were very respected within Kirigakure, although not too well known. Her brother, Daisu-Dai, had excelled in everything imaginable and was perfect in the eyes of her father. Her father, finding she was not a son, never expected anything of her. The women of the family were never known to have any outstanding strengths.
As Daika grew to a young girl, her brother began to notice the strength behind his sister. It interested him greatly, and he decided to begin to train her in secrecy. Just as any normal child, she would much rather be out playing, but amazed her brother was focusing his attention on her, she decided that it was important enough to do. Her brother never really played with her as she grew up, she didn't even know if he acknowledged her birth. He rarely even looked at her, and suddenly he was sneaking her out of the house away from their parents eyes, to teach her many things he knew.
She was learning very quickly, again unusual of the women of the family. Daisu wanted to know more. He began to push her to limits, often so far that she would pass out and he would have to make up a story to tell his parents, saying he found her in the yard asleep. Soon, he realized, she was much stronger than any of the men of the family, including him. It angered him in ways, but he surpressed it. He refused to let the knowledge of this leak. He didn't want her to know either.
When Daika was old enough to become a Genin, Daisu had become a tracker ninja for Kirigakure. She admired her brother, always looking up to him. Although, she didn't know her strength and never imagined she could become as strong as he. He still trained with his sister, her winnings becoming more and more frequent in their battles. He often smiled to her and laughed it off in her presence, but away from her, he seeped in anger.
Then, the days began to approach, when she'd start at the Academy. The men of the family found it a waste of time, money, and an embaressment to the family to send her to school. Only at Daisu's persistance did they agree to send her. A week before she was to start, her brother came to her room. He grabbed her by the arm without a word, and slammed her head against the door. She fell to the floor unconsious. He took her from the home, to a place they often trained at.
Daika awoke on the ground, unsure of what had happened. She stood up, thinking that she had just passed out as she often did when training with Daisu, except he was no where to be seen. She went back towards the village, seeing a lot of people around her home. A circle of masked men surrounded Daisu who lay motionless upon the ground. Picking up her pace, she shoved at the crowd, trying to get through. She finally stood behind a masked man. Daisu's chest and skull were covered in crimson blood, and his open eyes stared glassily into hers. She felt a scream emerge to her lips, but the sound trapped itself in her mouth. Her father pushed her out of his way, finding himself face to face with the body of his son.
He started to try to fight the men, but realized it was hopeless and fell to his knees beside Daisu. He cried against his face, "Why did you do this to my son?! Why?!" A man, speaking through the mask, replied emotionless, "He chose this. He wanted to quit. He's a tracker ninja, that was his destiny." Her father turned around, glaring at Daika, "Why wasn't it you!? You're useless, why my son?!"
Daika stood up, anger flooding her. She knew her father always loved her brother more, it was obvious, but he never spoke such words aloud. He always kept it behind the fleeting glances of uninterest, his waves of dismisal, and his disregard to anything regarding her. She was just there, the daughter that he seen in the halls, fed his food, and clothed her.
She pushed her way to her brother. Staring down at his face. In his hand, he clutch his mask that hid his identity. She slowly reached for it, a small crack decoration the usually flawless surface. She lifted it up, and turned it over. Blood caking the inside. She looked up to the man who spoke, "Can I choose where we bury him?"He shrugged, "I don't care..." Daika glanced at her father, "In the woods, where we always went." Her fathers face darted up, "Went?" Daika shook her head, not bothering to tell him anything more.
Her father surprisingly agreed to where she wanted him buried, but after that day, he never spoke directly to her again. Eventually, upon Daika's slightly delayed start at the Academy, she found a letter from her brother. He had hid it in her room, and when she was cleaning and packing up her things, she found it. He told her he knew he would most likely be killed, and that he took her to the woods to make sure she was out of the way. Then, it said something she didn't expect.
I never really liked you Daika. You were different, unique, and it did interest me, but you were stronger than I. I hated you for it, and in a way I do now even as I speak to you through this letter. I never told you because I didn't want you trying to take my place. You know this now, but I still saved you. I don't know if I do care a little about you, I used to but now, I am blinded by anger...but either way. Go to Konohagakure and train there. Maybe, in our afterlives we will meet and then, I might be stronge enough to truely be better than you.
It devistated Daika. She withdrew from all who knew her. She could no longer trust anyone. She did go to Konohagakure though. She didn't try to push too hard though. She tried to appear just as normal as the rest. Then, after she became Chuunin, her father passed away. It didn't really effect her, but she had wished he would of known that she were stronger than her thought. She continued on until she became Jounin. She decided to take a small break, visiting her mother. Her mother was so proud that she was proving the family wrong about women. She was incredibly strong. She decided to bring her mother back with her to Konohagakure, but a few days after her eighteenth birthday, her mother suffered a heart attack. It paralyzed her from the waist down. She came home one day, after a rigorous exam, only to find her mother had stabbed herself through her chest. She had been tired of being a burden to her daughter. It didn't really hit Daika hard, she only had her mother live with her as it being the respectable things to do. After her mothers death, she only continued on with her life in Konohagakure.
Mental Evaluation File
Mental Analysis:Nearly mute, Daika only speaks when addressed to, and even then only if she finds reason to. She doesn't find herself feeling much at all. She only feels physical needs. She listens to orders and follows what is told. When she does feel it is typically annoyance by something, but rarely is it sympathy.
She does tend to stick her nose into important business though, being the curious cat. She doesn't give up until she has accomplished what she has set out to do. If she would fail at something she wouldn't let it go and would always beat herself up about it. She always has been this way, except to one person who is no longer there, her brother who passed away. She cared about him greatly, and wasn't just an empty shell with him. His death shoved her back into her own barrier not letting any emotions slip through.

Height:5'8
Weight:149lbs
Appearance:Daika-Syn at glance appears frail, nearly delicate, and breakable. Born to a respectable family of men, typically the women were over looked and seen as the weaker yet still important half. At birth her parents didn't realize she was a little unusual in strength and as she grew older she held her muscular arms and legs under clothes.
She has very pale skin, that blends with her light sandy colored hair, only adding to her washed out appearance. Her hair falls around her shoulders in her front, but in back it comes to rest in the center of her back.
Her eyes are large, a greyish tone of tea. They always appear mysterious and draw people into trusting her and sharing their intermost secrets with her. In a way they make her look younger than her eighteen years.
Attire:She wears beautiful hand-stitched and dyed kimonos, often pale in colors. At her waist, the large sash is over lapped with a silken rope. At the end tied to it is a plain white mask, with three blue stripes on the right cheek, and a blue circle on the left. on the chin is the hidden mist symbol. In the center, of what would be the fore head, is a small crack.
