Izumida reached over the counter and washed his hands before opening the door with his elbow. No point in washing your hands if you were going to touch the door moments after... Oh. Did you know that you come in contact with an average of 15 penises per day? Like, through touching someone that touched something/someone that someone touched after not washing their hands and using the urinal. You could eliminate any of those steps except the initial non-washing and yeah...
But, I digress.
After arriving at the empty table to a moment of confusion, Izumida looked up and saw Shikome at the counter paying for their meals-to-go. He didn't particularly mind so much as he was confused. Something was definitely wrong.
He jogged up to her, but not before glancing sideways at Sei.
'There is much penis going on here.' he thought, quickly turning away and running to catch up to Shikome.

"Thanks!" Shikome was saying to the woman as Izumida walked up. Now, she had to make her reasoning for leaving believable. Izumida was smarter than the average 10 year old. Even if he didn't believe her, he wouldn't question her, but she hated lying to him.
"Oh, shortman, I just thought we would make this dinner a picnic in the park by the bridge. What do you think?" As she was saying this, she had the food that was wrapped in a large package-like bagging in her hand and was headed for the door.
In retrospect, she gave one last menacing look at the man that had been sitting behind them. To play it safe, she assumed he was one of her tormentor's stooges. She was being watched, no doubt, but he wouldn't make a move in the middle of the street, in public. It was too costly to the Underground.
"What are you up to, Raigyo..."

"Oh...that sounds nice."
Izumida happened to look away as his sister shot Sei the menacing glance, so he was completely oblivious as he exited the Rosadoru Corabu with her.
They walked down the street towards the park, Izumida clumsily holding his to-go.

Timing. Apparently it was the something that was impeccable for Hanz. Seeing as how he had just returned from proving his worth as one of the seven swordsmen, he wanted to grab a quick drink. All the good bars were closed at this time, and so he would go to this restaurant that had pretty good tempura. Hunger, and a drink...two birds...1 stone. Sucking his teeth, a woman walking by was captivated by him. He returned the looked, turning around and backing toward the door as he watched her walk away. He could tell that she liked what he saw. Even if she didn't...he would think that. But the fact that he she looked over her shoulder and watched him for an extra second said it all. A smirk played upon his lips as he gave her a "What up?" nod. "Yeah...you got caught lookin." Reaching his arm back, he opened up the door and then stood aside and let an older woman by. Flashing a smile, her companion put an arm around her as if telling him to back off and marking his territory. However, she was visibly about 50 or 56, so the old guy had nothing to worry about.
Looking over his shoulder with a mocking expression, two people would catch his eye. A woman and a boy...more specifically...his interest and his pupil. Following them would be stalker-ish...but then again, why not? Releasing the door, someone bumped into it and promptly let out a "What the hell!?" Hanz replied with a wave and a million dollar smile. Picking up the pace, he jogged in their direction before a shunshin would put him in between them. Placing a had on her left hip, his chest would press against her shoulder.
"Good Afternoon Kome-chan."
Leaving his hand there, his body would block the little guy from seeing him grope his sister. Placing the other hand on her chin, he would suggest that she looked in his direction. He was never forceful, he simply wanted to look into her eyes for a second. Taking a few steps forward, his hand would linger for an extra second as he smirked at her. Even if she didn't look, he was now in front of her and walking backwards. Looking towards Izumida he placed his hands into the pockets of his hoody.
"What's good Izu-kun?"
His hands now resting into the comfort of his oversized hoody, he noticed that they had lunch already. This reminded his stomach that it was set on Tempura but would now have to settle upon swallows. The day was still young. Food would come eventually, but he didn't want to pass up this oppurtunity.
"You guys heading home for lunch?"

Things just keep getting better, Sei thought to himself as he witnessed yet another player enter into this little game. However, this wasn't like one of those random NPC challengers that would encounter every now and then. No, far from it. This new player was one of the fucking Shinobigatana. It seemed that Shikome had been making friends in some pretty powerful places as of late.
"Uh, yeah...," Sei spoke as he pressed the button on the radio in his lap. "Things might not go as smoothly as you predicted," he said right before taking a sip of his green tea.
"What are you talking about now, Sei?"
"She seems to have made friends with a Shinobigatana. That's all I got to say."
"Keep following them. Just make sure to keep your distance, and don't do anything rash," he said as he let out an annoyed sigh. "Keep me updated."
"Yessir," Sei spoke as he turned the radio off once again, and let out a sigh himself. He wasn't getting paid enough to deal with this kind of crap. Then again, it's not like he had much of a choice in the matter. He'd simply have to sit and watch things out for now.

Shikome blinked as, all-of-a-sudden-out-of-the-blue-speak-of-the-devil, Hanz flickered in between her and Izumida, aparently trying to grope her on the low. She didn't even stop her steady pace as she gently turned her chin in his direction. She was starting to get used to his suave antics, and as he began walking backward in front of them, she felt a little bit better. His timing was impeccable, indeed.
"Oh, hey! Yeah. Well, no, not exactly. We're headed to the park," she said, the gears in her brain turning. If Raigyo wanted his boys to follow her and Izumida, she was gonna give them a show. I mean, Shikome is not one to disappoint. She was gonna give them something interesting to go back and tell their leader.
"Hey! Wanna come with? I have more than enough to snack on in here." She held the bag of food up in front of her face and tapped the side gently. She knew she was being slightly OOC around Izumida, but he obviously knew something was a little off kilter today. Whether or not he'd play along was the question at hand.

When a figure suddenly appeared between him and his sister, Izumida felt his heart skip a few beats. The strangeness of the day so far already had his nerves on the frizz, and this sudden occurrence didn't really do much to help. After a moment, Izumida recognized who it was. Though he was on somewhat good terms with the guy, he became somewhat annoyed. Who did he think he was to come out of the blue and get between him and his sister like that?
Regardless, Izumida quickly got over it. He figured he would probably have to get used to this eventually, so now was as good a time as any. Even though he didn't really want to share his delicious food, he would have to make do. Shikome seemed to have a reason for being all weird around him, so he would trust her to have a good reason.

Shikome's eyes looked at him like she was happy to see him. His always seemed so cocky, but in truth, he was glad to see her as well. The woman that had mysteriously slid into his life was now a fixture. They weren't together they were just...kicking it. That's why her invitation made sense. Hanz was completely oblivious to the day that they were having. After all, he had just gotten there. Shikome always acted a little off around him. Though it never really bothered him, he just assumed she didn't know how to act around a dude like him. He simply wasn't what she was used to. Lunch sounded good to him though, so he would gladly accept her invitation. With a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye, he'd address the girl that managed to hold his attention.
"That sounds like a plan."
A vibe like the one Izumida gave off could be spotted by anyone anywhere. It was cold and almost annoyed. The look in his eyes caused Hanz to tilt his head a little. Apparently he was interupting something. Hanz didn't really know Izumida. He couldn't officially take him under his wing until he graduated from the Academy. But...Hanz knew people, and Izu-kun was definitely holding something against him.
"That's if it's alright with him. You aight?"
Slowing down, Hanz would pivot his foot and fall in line with the two of them. His attention would be directed at the shorter of the two. Still keeping his hands in his pockets, he caught their pace and continued to look at him as they walked toward their destination.
"I owe you money or somethin?"
The question was him jokingly trying to figure out if he and Hanz had beef. Hanz couldn't think of anything that would get between them. Well...other than the fact that he had a thing for his sister. He was never verbal about it but he could understand if it got under his skin.

Shikome rolled her eyes a bit, then put her hand on Izumida's head as she did so often. "He's fine. He's just ready to eat, probably. I mean, he DID graduate from the academy today, and I can see how that would work up an appetite," she said beaming with pride. She was still happy he was finally a genin, and could begin some real combat training. Although, she was afraid of him having to fight against other shinobi. She'd have to kick some little genin's ass if he laid a finger on her brother.
Just as she finished speaking, they arrived at a green, grassy area with benches and such near a small lake at the bottom of a hill. For all of you who need visuals, it goes a little something like this:
The weather was still cold, just as it always was in Kiri, but it was unusually sunny today, with only a few clouds in the sky. Hopefully it would turn out to be a good omen and not some tragic literary irony.
Shikome sat in the middle of one of benches - right there where that little woman in the white hat is sitting - leaving space on either side of her for Izumida and Hanz. Last thing she needed as Izumida feeling left out, or Hanz trying to kick game with her little brother sitting between them. There was no doubt in her mind that they were still being followed, so she'd drag this day out as long as possible. Raigo would have to be crazy if he thought she was gonna make it easy on him.

"Oh well...congrats."
Raising an eyebrow, Hanz pushed Izumida on his shoulder and then smiled himself. It would seem that he was going to become a real ninja. Now it was time to begin the more difficult training and mold him into a good man as well as a ninja, but it was his first time with a hitae ate. All the other stuff would come in due time. Hanz leaned his head back and looked up into the sky. He remembered his days in the Academy. It seemed like yesterday. His moment of reflection would be quick though as they reached the park. Though it was a relatively clear day for Kiri, the cold air probably kept people from getting out for a walk. As Shikome took her seat on the bench, Hanz took one to the right her. Flopping down, his right elbow made its self at home on the arm rest. One leg was bent at the knee while the other straightened its self out and pointed toward the sky.
Looking to his left, he wouldn't put his arm around her or anything cheesy like that. Out of respect for Izumida, he wouldn't blatantly try to kick it to his sister. Today would be a friendly encounter with no ulterior motives. However, should the situation present its self, he would jump all over it. They both seemed a little on edge today. Izumida was even more quiet than usual and even Shikome seemed a little more rattled. For whatever reason, Hanz scanned the area. Not really looking for anything in particular and not sure exactly what he was looking for. If he looked one of the goons in the face, he wouldn't even have recognized them. Realizing that it was kind of silly, he reached the the bag that was sitting in Shikome's lap. His hand finally came out of his pocket as he poked it in the side as if expecting it to giggle,
"What we got?"

After the friendly gesture from Hanz, Izumida's little mood died down a bit. If anyone was gonna steal his sister away from him, it may as well be this guy, rather than one of those mean guys she hanged out with a lot.
He sat down on the other side of Shikome, placing his bag of food on his lap. Opening the little Styrofoam box, Izumida quickly dug into his shrimp. Though he really wanted to spend the day with just Shikome, she seemed to want him around. With so much strangeness today, it was probably best that he was there...for whatever reason.

Her two favorite guys on either side of her, and it seemed that they weren't being tailed anymore - if they had been in the first place. As Hanz inquired about the eats, she took the to-go plate from the bag and opened it.
"Hibachi Chicken Junior for me, and Hibachi Shrimp & Steak Junior for shortman," she said, forgetting for a second how uncomfortable she had been with Hanz previously. It was more like she had known him for weeks now instead of just days. There was something about him that intrigued her, and at the same time, prompted her to let her guard down a little. And anyone who knows Senkyo Shikome can testify to the fact that she does NOT let her defenses down for anyone. Maybe it was his Rico Suave attitude, his Don Juan actions, his Antonio Banderas body, or his Brad Pitt smile, or his Johnny Depp...
...sorry, my turn to digress.
Anywho, she pulled out four packs of chopsticks and handed a pair to Izumida, a pair to Hanz, took a pair for herself, and put the other pair back in the bag. She always grabbed more than she needed, so they could take anything home if they needed too.
"Dig in, guys. Itadakimasu!"

Izumida took the chopsticks from his sister and looked down at his plate of food. The smells were all drifting into his nose, nearly overwhelming him with how amazing the scent was.
"Itadakimasu~" he muttered quietly, breaking the chopsticks apart and getting down into the food. The first bite made his eyes glaze over and his mouth drop open. He had never tasted anything so amazing in his life.
Very few things in the world could completely evoke such outward emotion in Izumida.
1) Manga.
2) His sister yelling.
3) Hibachi Shrimp & Steak Junior
He slowly melted into a puddle on the bench next to Shikome. He wouldn't even be remotely aware of the happenings around him until the taste went away.

Hanz was getting to know her more and more as they hung out more often. Not as in he was learning more by what she was telling him, but the fact that a level of comfort was beginning to come into fruition between the two of them. It was actually relieving. He didn't know how long he could put up with the awkwardness that filled the atmosphere and was so thick that it would choke him. Combine that with the fact that her little brother was the one person he ever had hard time reading and it was one hell of a challenge. Then again...maybe that's what kept him around. The thrill of the hunt.
Taking the chopsticks between his point and thumb, his other hand would come from hibernating in the pocket to get them open. Breaking them apart, he didn't participant in their chant. Instead, he simply smiled. Considering the fact Izumida had been clutching his back, he would stick with Shikome's food. Taking a piece of chicken in his cluthces, he noticed that the meal was rather small. Definitely kids sized. It wouldn't be enough for the two of them. So, he dropped his piece of chicken and went for the rice, but wouldn't say a word. Instead he looked over and smirked at the face of Izumida. It would seem that he found his heaven on earth. Lifting his chopsticks he took a bite.
"That's pretty good. Where'd you go?"
More small talk. Anything to get a glimpse or two of her expressions. Since he wasn't used to her talking...that's all he had to go on.

Shikome smiled, knowing he'd love what he tasted. To be honest, sitting next to Kiri's self proclaimed playboy was starting to mess with her appetite. Not in the bad way, like he was gross or something. Like...in the good way. She had butterflies in her stomach, and she hates butterflies, as she does all bugs. She knew that she was just putting on a show for Raigyo and his boys, but she wondered if she was using this situation to act the way she normally would. Would she tell him later that all of his was just an act? That they were being monitored, and she was trying to send a message? It all depended. If the day went great, then she'd let it go. If he didn't respond well to her openness, she'd blame it on the game. She would point all ten fingers (and toes even) at the fact that she had to act that way. So, then she was covered, and he wouldn't know the difference.
Easy peasy.
"That little diner-ish restaurant we were walking away from when we saw you. It's Izumida's favorite, isn't that right Iz-" Shikome looked over at Izumida to nudge him, be he was reveling in his meal. "Oh. I forgot. This is one of the few things that can get a reaction out of him. This, Manga, and me yelling," she said with a matter of fact tone, sliding the plate of chicken and rice over to Hanz. "Here. You can have mine. I'm not all that hungry, it seems."
The kunoichi looked back over her shoulder in the direction they had come from, surveyed the random passersby, the trees, and the bushes.
Nothing.
Maybe they were really home free, and she could go back to being her difficult, awkward self. Or, she could keep up the act...you know...just in case...
