Shikome, semi-used to his flirty antics, wasn't expecting such a gesture from him as bold as pulling her forward to him. Her arms were crossed, and her face was unsure. She bit her lip gently. "I'm...gonna pay off the debt. Then I'm out of there," she answered, faced flushed at this point from the whole ordeal. Either that, or she was blushing. "But first, me and Izumida have to get the hell out of here."
She nodded to Izumida's bedroom. She'd have to pack her things soon, too, but it wouldn't take her as long. He had to choose which toys to bring and such. She only needed enough clothes and clean underwear to get her through a week.
"I'm probably gonna talk to some of my dad's friends across town. I can get a new apartment, but it may take a week or two. Until then, we'll hit up a decent ryokan somewhere quiet. Damn..." Shikome buried her face in her hands. "...SHIT. Today was supposed to be his special day."

"Tch..."
Hanz was seeing a side of her that he wasn't used to. Then again, these were circumstances that were, quite frankly put, fucked up. Seeing as how things were gettin pretty heavy, he aint wanna see her cry. Clearing his throat, even though her guard was up, he would pull her even closer and at the same time scoot closer to the edge of the counter. Not really able to "sympathize" with the situation, Hanz was a realist. His pointer finger on each hand would press down upon her wrists as he would lower down her hands so that he could look her in the eyes.
"Special day my ass. Genin means you're one step closer to doing shit that'll kill you. This is a good experience for him. Shit is real out here. You don't really need to move either. They know where you are, but you're cooperating. The danger is over."
Releasing her wrist with one hand he raised her chin. His brows furrowed a bit as he gave her a stern face. He was mocking his former ANBU Captain. The man never actually sunk his teeth into Hanz. In fact, the only thing Hanz really remembered about him was that lone wrinkle in his forehead when he was yelling. It caused him to smirk and almost blow his little impression. Letting out a chuckle as he looked down, he looked back up and fixed his face.
"You'll be aight. If you need me...I got you. Now stop all that stressin and do what you gotta."
Looking into her eyes again, he wanted her to know that he was sincere. One word would help him to confrim that.
"Aight?!"
Izumida was in his room and they were actually alone. Not even really thinking about it, Hanz would lean forward and peck at her lips. A small kiss, not like those deep "I'm going to be by your side forever" or a notebook type of kiss, but just enough for him to finally get a taste of her lips. Then again, she was quick, and though she was locked up, she still had room to sway. It was a risk he was willing to take though. The chemistry was obvious and even though she had her defense up. No point in talking about it though...it was goin down.

"The danger is over? I don't think you know how this game wor--" Shikome began as he began to lean in for the kiss.
Aight, freeze frame.
Now, Shikome wasn't the kiss-a-guy type. She thought boys had cooties up until she graduated from the academy, and even after then, she thought they were sweaty little crust buckets. That was mainly because she grew up with street fighters like Raigyo around her. Now, there was this tall dark and handsome swordsman in front of her, the perfect player in a tale of star crossed lovers. Well, minus the "lovers" part. He was just a guy she was fond of and she was a girl he thought was peachy. And for the record, she wasn't gonna cry. ;[
Okay, resume.
Shikome let his lips press into hers, and closed her eyes as he did. She instinctively pressed her's back, barely. Then, after he pulled back, all she could do was nod to all of his aforementioned comments.
"Uh...thanks. I mean, for the help. Well, the future help. I mean, you know, for like...having me. NO, NOT THAT! I mean like-- for having me -- like, 'I got you' having me. Uh..." And there she went again.
"I should go pack my stuff anyway. I just don't feel comfortable knowing they have such easy access to my place."

The princess of a dark world filled with men proving their worth through the fists. Where blood hitting the floor would cause people to erupt in a joyous roar and pain and sweat was rewarded with wealth and recognition. A man having come from nothing and working his way into the eye of the Kage. A knight amongst mere men who willingly did things that made people piss their pants at the mere thought of. As lips came together, worlds collided at that moment. Most people were content with a simple handshake, but that kiss sealed their bond. Hanz never kissed with his eyes closed, but he saw hers. And even though he had stopped pressing forward, he felt it grow stronger. He took the initiative, and she kissed him back.
He had begun to crack up she stumbled about a phrase that could defnitely serve as an innuendo. It would it gave him yet another reason two smirk, other than the fact that he finally got that kiss he had been wanting since that day in the tea shop. As she said something about going to pack, Hanz released the grip on he had on her. Taking a deep breath, he looked toward the sink.
"You should put the packet in the ramen."
Nodding in agreement with himself, he licked his lips as if it would prolong the first kiss that the two of them shared. At this point, he smiled and looked at the floor. Opening his mouth wide, his lips would disappear in his mouth as he tried to hide his smile, but to no avail. Cheese nga.
"You so just kissed me."

While Shikome and Hanz were sharing their moment, Izumida was packing his life into a duffel bag. Completely unaware that they weren't going to move, this was quite the experience. He felt bad for the toys that didn't make the cut, and even worse for the ones that were getting separated from their friends. Hey. Just 'cause he was smart didn't mean he wasn't ten. ;[
Though he wanted nothing more than to be with Shikome right now, he figured she would come in when she was ready. Until then, he'd play with his unpacked toys one final time.
Old and unused toys took the roles of his newer, more liked ones. They gained the superpowers and personalities of their predecessors, and even the same variations of Izumida's voice. There was the one lady who had amazing super strength and was invincible. She was his favorite. Her sidekick had no powers or anything, but was really smart. She'd protect him from all the bad guys, while he'd give her plans and stuff. They were a great team.

Shikome pulled back, then walked over to where the ramen packet was, grabbing it and twirling it in her fingers. She knew she should start packing her things too. She wasn't exactly sure if they were leaving that night, but she was positive they were leaving. She wasn't about to make it easy for them to keep up with her.
"Tch, whatever. You so totally just kissed me first." She smiled and tossed the packet at Hanz, then headed out of the kitchen to her room to pack.
